I take a look at Marble It Up, the spiritual successor to the arcade hit known as Marble Blast Ultra. Will it be as good as the original gangster or will it fall by the wayside? Let's find out!
Great video, found it very interesting to hear the origins of the Marble Genre! I haven’t played the old games myself, but found marble it up to be really fun. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on Marble Skies.
Uhoh, you've been raided by the MIU cult! I've got 2 things to add: 1, Mayhem is a currently-in-development full overhaul of the game, done because the devs weren't happy with the Classic's pacing and quality, particularly in the earlier levels. The iOS version is basically an early access build, which doesn't even have all the levels they've made for it in the game yet, and runs a horribly outdated version of multiplayer. Once Mayhem releases proper on Switch and PC I think you can expect to come back to a much more fleshed out build of the game. 2: This game's speedrun scene is super sick! (no bias at all) iirc it's not available for Mayhem yet, but on PC and Switch, you can watch replays of friend's times or global top 5 times straight from the level select screen; or, you could check out the real-time runs on speedrun . com. Give running a shot, IMO it's the most fun way to play this game, by far great video btw, i think this is my favorite review of my favorite game so far :]
Hey, I'm here to ask you to join the marble it up discord so we can discuss some stuff? Well. You dont have to. But there are some things Id like to clear up. First off, I enjoyed this video very much, Im not criticizing im just clearing stuff up because im a passionate player and am one of the level builders now. You described you wanted to see a mode where you race ghost versions of other peoples runs. That exists on marble it up, and im not sure why its not in mayhem yet but Im sure it will be. There are 2 different versions of the game (as simply as i can put this because its complicated) because of apples requests it sort of shifted marble it up into an early phase 2... there wont be 2 versions forever... things will merge into one best version eventually but i cant say when. As far as falling on checkpoints... i hope we can address it soon, its been acknowledged at least even on the discord but dev time has to be directed elsewhere too. I hope i didnt typo too much... im on my phone
Another passionate player here, just want to echo what Tony is saying. Really enjoyed the video, but I feel like there's a whole extra layer to the MIU world that you haven't yet uncovered and think you'll enjoy. Also want to add that, while there's is no built in level editor, the PC version of the game does have custom level support with the Steam Workshop.
