This is a video about making a Marble Machine. I made the model first in Fusion 360. It has a large marble lifting wheel that lifts the marbles to a fish stairs. From there the marbles drops down through a flip-flop mechanism. Besides each flip-flop there's a photocells that measures the difference in light. It does not work that well yet. The sensitiviy from each photocell differs so I have to fix that. Whenever a 'change' occurs the led changes from green to red. When the marbles reach the bottom they end up in a rail that guides them to the Archimedes lift. From there they are guided back to the starting point. At the back of the flip-flop there's an Arduino Mega that uses 10 analog inputs (photocells) and control the LED's. The LED I use are WS2812B. I've also used my DIY CNC Machine (check out my other video's about that). My printer is an Anet A8.
If you want to make something like this yourself you can download the STL from my GitHub page. You can also find the Arduino code there.
