Thank you for the tutorial. Do you ever put cardboard between the front and back of the tshirt? Will this work on a tshirt that has 10% nylon/poly in it? Thanks
Yes I think you could put cardboard inside to keep it stretched out. I think it would work on a fabric with a little bit of synthetic fibers, but it might make the colors not as bright.
The soda ash preps the cellulose fibers to receive the dye. Procion dye gives brilliant results. I rinsed it with cold until the water runs clear and washed right away and dried it as soon as I got it out of the washer to prevent bleeding. I didn’t use fixative.
