@@howardbeale211 I know, but i'm referring to the main stage of TD, i don't know if you have seen last year's line up, just take a look: Access One - Evil Activities - Tha Playah - Mad Dog - Dither - Nosferatu vs Never Surrender - Angerfist vs Miss K8 - N-Vitral - Sefa - Dr Peacock & Partyraiser - Drokz. Seriously, Sefa?? I mean, i love his music, but he just don't fit for Thunderdome. That's what I mean with that comment.
We definitely do. I like mainstream hardcore, but come on, the original sound is really something else. Fortunatelly, hardstyle seems to be coming back to what it was, I don't know about hardcore though. There's very few new tracks with that old school vibe, but I still have faith.
As somebody who is into hardcore for only two years, it feels crazy for me how much the roots of this music differ to the sound of modern hardcore. Don‘t get me wrong, I love both styles (yeah also piepkicks, hate if you want), but I think it‘s amazing that a guy like him is still kicking and bringing us this oldschool sound. He keeps the legacy alive and gives us the diversity that I love about the Harder Styles. Everybody can listen to the style he prefers :) Amazing set, really enjoyed it. :)
You might want to check all the lesser known stuff from PCP as this is just a medley of the most commercial works. There's so much good to find when you dive into the PCP labels from the Frankfurt era.
I'm 40 years old I'm going to hardcore 25 plus + years it all started for me in 1995 when I was 14, with Thunderdome when my sister came along with thunderdome CDs and cassette tapes ( im FROM , the NETHERLANDS ) NL dus .
How good is it. Man to me even until 2010 it was something magical. I only started listening in 2000 (i was 15) but i still listen to this day obviously
@@thaplayah85 you're right, after 2010 it began crowling down. The worst began around 2017. I think it's for 3 reasons : First : the Hardcore scene became to big = a lot of money =more commercial than underground. Second : à big part of the millénium dj's are becoming older, so less creativity and stagnation. Third : the consequence of reason two, a lot of young bad producers have got the place due of less good dj's who stopped and with the help of RU-vid. Now 2 things are possible : 1- if that Corona story would not exist, whe would have some years of bad music with some upcoming good new producers who after some years would show a new way of good music. 2- the actual hardcore situation ( a lot of bad music) + that Corona ( complot) = the death of big and great party's, so the death of good Hardcore music, because a real good hardcore producer, is someone who does it for the partypeoples.
Oh man ich fühle mich in meine Kindheit zurück versetzt. Mit 11 Jahren 1994 die erste Thunderdome gekauft von meinem Taschengeld. War stolz wie bolle. Seit dem begleitet die Musik mein Leben bis heute.
The Godfather!
It`s a UK thing ;))
We need more of this creativity that was going on in those days in the hardcore scene nowadays. I Like the new stuff 2 for sure even uptempo but when you can’t different tracks anymore properly you know something is goin on :D
@@ginafellhauer Yeah a very bad one. This streetculture is dead like the whole raveidea from back then. Have you ever been on a real Hardcorerave before? I don`t mean this bullshit in the last ten years. I mean a real Hardcorerave with real Djculture and Gabbaheads that don`t look like rockstars.
@@pipapopipapo2056 You havent even been there and you think that by watching videos you know everything. Just be proud of the fact that the party still exists.. if there were more people like you hardcore would be dead. You can celebrate the past in your way but let other people celebrate the present and the future in their way
We`ve been there and I´m just telling the truth. Hardcore street culture is dead and as a 21st century rushing raver I will always live the future without talking bad about new generations- I love you all;). You don`t know the real roots of Hardcore with its Dj and Mc culture, maybe that`s why you think about being proud of something that became a joke. It`s not about critcizing everything new, just about the knowledge what a culture with its roots, meanings and codes is about. Do you even know that hardcore is not from the Netherlands or the meaning of "Gabber" and it`s roots in old dutch monkcult as you could see in the shaved heads and the perfection in dance? There is no celebration as we can see in your video! ;)
@@allyreneepenny9447 THUNDERDOME is the best 👍 it's so unique, THUNDERDOME is the godfather of all Hardcore music and the scene all around the world...
"the southern edition" yup, good memories, ranking top five with the Megarave, Thunderdome '93 Mysteryland '94 and Hellraiser '92!!!! But i want this in the Koepel when Corona is gone, with me and a couple thousand gabbers!!! Been saying this since the prisoners left there!
This guy is the absolute best. Saw him live in Vilnius, Lithuania this year, never felt like that before. I wish the whole rave was just him playing, was so sad to see him wrapping up. Please come back Marc, fuckin love you man!!
@@pipapopipapo2056 I know you do. And you can see it in his face that he's disappointed he missed an effect/transition. It happens, even to the best of us.
@@pipapopipapo2056 23:28 Can't you hear that he's turning the volume down for effect and he's missing? Besides, we see him making a face because he's disappointed. If you can't hear and you can't see... I can't say anything else. Those who liked my comment are the ones who noticed it too.
@@KakudHajdar Yap, I know what you mean. I didn`t understand your comment. I thought that you mean that the music is a mix and just the original track like it is. Anyway have fun;))
I just NEED to listen to this mix EVERY DAY, at least once, otherwise I can be so grumpy haha😂. You’re the fucking best mr Acardipane!! Woehoeeeee👊🏻 you’re music gives me goosebumps😍 (my neighbors probably hate me because the bass and volume are at a earthquake kinda level 😂) 💕 love from Rotterdam!
HaHa , net als vroeger die hand bewegingen nog steeds , vond Marc altijd lekker draaien . Hij ging ook helemaal mee , nu nog steeds met de muziek geweldige gast Marc Acardipane ik hem niet zo veel helaas gezien .
Marc is one of the most creative producers I've ever seen. His Live Sets are legendary. I saw him live and I've never been dancing a for such a long time before. He's a Mastermind and a pure legend. Without the Godfather of Hardcore Techno and for sure Hardcore would not be as it is.
bester mann. er hat den mut die welt zu ändern so wie sie sein muss ich geh mal von aus das er für 80% der musik verantvortlich is die hier grade so manche augen öffnet :)
Real example of dedication and how being truthful to the things you like, love and do matter so f*cking hard that the energy generated by all that is like a fucking entity of its own which brings pleasure and reminds me how humans should be more like that (no hate about anything else and anything else that is l"oved" and done by other people whether actually loved or just doing it) Marc is an inspirational being.

I dont listen to that angerfist and missk8 stuff.. only if they do a set at partys 😉 Early rave / Early Hardcore / Gabber / Early terror / Millenium is still so nice! Those kicks are so much better.. just full of bass! Nowadays there is almost no bass in those kicks anymore 😔
