Honestly Araujo needs to get it together. This board and president he is dealing with him literally let the best player in the world leave for free. Letting Araujo leave, a player that makes mistakes under pressure(red card PSG) and not owning to it for 90m+ wont be a problem for Laporta. Deco needs to put expiration dates on the contract proposals with a ultimatum of being placed in the market for example "Hey Araujo we need you to reply to the contract extension otherwise on July 1st you will be going on the market and we will value the best deal for the club" same thing with Frankie De jong(but at least he deserves more respect he is a maybe icon for the club unlike Araujo). I mean at some point we only had Lenglet and Umtiti so I think that with Kounde, Cubarsi, Christensen, Garcia, Faye we can manage. They need to respect the Badge the Club.
It’s simple , Barca do not think GUI has a high potential that if he leaves they would miss him , see how they handling Faye’s they don’t wanna sell without a buy back because they trust the potential. If it’s for the money can’t blame the kid.
Barcelona don’t have a choice on what they do with they transfer. They paid the release clause and everything was up the player and his agent. If Chelsea had negotiated a price they could’ve negotiated a buy-back or sell-on clause but they literally could not.

You clearly didn’t watch him or keep up with his loan 🤦🏽♂️ He was doing great and then he got injured. After good injury he didn’t really get much game time because the squad already was set and had chemistry. 9/10 times you can’t just throw a player in and expect the squad to perform the same
I did keep up with him and it was more of the same since his first injury yes he has potential but fails to show time and time again wether it be an injury or lack of form, the longer we wait on him to show us what he can do the more his price drops
@@eddyrodriguez5500 yes he got injured, he was still having a good loan spell. He started the season on the bench not getting any minutes and ended up working his way up, scoring goals and assisting. It’s not black and white, he did that while playing in a different system and in a different position than he had at Barcelona. His problem is injuries but saying what you said about him could be applied to Pedri. It could be applied to FDJ who had an injury ridden season. It can be applied to Balde and Gavi if they come back and get re-injured. Players get more injured when they’re younger, not older. Look at Demebele this season with PSG. He just hit the age where his body is fully developed and he was injury free. We’re bring up kids and expecting them to play 40/50/60 matches a season and not get injured. Pedri and Fati were both abused. They need proper care and management. Gavi and Balde weren’t abused like those 2 but their minutes were not managed at all. Lamine is playing every game for us and Spain already. It’s the club, not the players.
