Hello Michelle! I would personally recommend the larger tote just because if you carry a laptop and notebooks, it's more comfortable to have it as a shoulder bag as opposed to a crossbody. Additionally, a 13-inch laptop will not technically fit inside the smaller tote bag because it stands higher than the zipper. Hence, you won't be able to zip up the smaller tote bag. Hope that helps :-)

Hello Emily! I ended up returning the large tote bag and keeping the small. However, I’ve just recently repurchased these large tote bag again, except in a different color. I think it’s a great and sturdy bag for travel, work, and beach. Agreed the large is quite big. I’m 5’4 for reference but I think it’s decent. Maybe you can purchase it and see if it fits you. They do always allow returns :-)

The slate green from my original video here is a nice safe color and is neutral enough to pair with most outfits. I like the beige more as well since it is lighter and probably great for summer! Just depends on whether you're ok with potentially getting something dirty on the beige one.
