Marc is a terrible jealous guy. That tends to project his terrible attitude and way of thinking on to his listeners. So makes sense when sad people say they like him
I like how he tries to improve himself constantly, and looks back and admits faults. It shows a lot of character not to assume you are better than someone else and justify your poor behavior.
Tricking Jimmy on that 1st class bit and the suit in luggage had me rolling 🤣 And holy cow Marc! Nice licks on the guitar. Need to get you and Conan and Bill Burr together to do a comedy musical show. Throw Dana Carvey in there too 💕👍
Having seen him early on this tour, I'll just say that the cat bit they tease gets way, way darker and *much* funnier shortly after the clip they showed.
After Lynn passed, he went from playing for himself and podcast intros, to live IG jams, finally getting the courage to play with a band, and now getting to jam live with the Roots!
@@jenessahopkins7761sorry but Marc had played with friends before Lynn passed. He played with Jimmy Vivino(from Conan O’Brien), plus even Lynn used many of his “riffs” for her movie Sort of Trust.
I wish his podcast was video. He’s so photogenic and likable in his grumpiness. I never get tired of seeing him. Either way, his is probably the best podcast ever. Never seen his stand up. All these different platforms and the exclusivity!😢
If you haven’t seen the special, watch it. I thought end times fun was going to be the best Maron special, it’s not! This one is. He just keeps getting better!
Been seeing a lot of really cool people this week (Chelsea handler + Marc Maron) speak about the benefits of not having children. It makes me feel peaceful inside. Idk if that’s in my destiny, but I wonder if it’s a new form of evolution of conscious people choosing to disconnect from the mass conditioning of ‘you must procreate to have a completely fulfilling life’
It's been a wonderful thing watching this talented man finally achieve the success he deserves. Marc Maron is the funniest man in America and a damn good blues guitarist in the bargain.
@BEYONDxTHUNDERDOME I think he's fucking hilarious and on par with Woody Allen but I can see that they don't necessarily appeal to everyone. Like Ingmar Bergman, Tarkovsky, or Shakespeare, for that matter. He's not a professional musician, but he can play with them. Can you play guitar that well ? Tina Turner rocks. Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo. "ALICE !"
I just listened to the Marc Summers WTF episode and heard all about the anxiety of hitting the lick.... you did it, homie!! It was more amazing than you described and you deserve all of the accolades of the moment! Living the dream!
I got hip to Maron from watching glow. Honestly never knew of him previously. That made me stumble upon the podcast.. and its a gold mine . So many people from Ice Cube, to norm mcdonald.. to even Ty Segall (Garage Rock Singer/Songwriter) which blew my mind. I've listened to hours of this guy now and his great interviews. Love this dude. Hes great.
Marc Maron describes his new comedy special, From Bleak to Dark. Jimmy: I think people are going to live, laugh, love it. It's too much fun to pick on Jimmy😝😝😝
I work at a Pizza place here in Chicago and keep it classic. I spin the dough in my hand and throw it up to the ceiling to stick there for a bit before gravity drops it back down to me. My boss or customers don't know I do this but I swear it boosts the flavor.
It always amazes me just how formulaic US talk shows are. Jimmy Fallon is the worst host, he should be on Sesame Street. The way he reacts like, ' oh my guest said something slightly amusing, I'd better totally over react so the folks at home can tell '. Awful.
That suit is so awful. Really, Marc is looking better than ever, he looks fit and peppy. But that suit, the lapel is a mess, the fabric, it's weird. Marc, didn't anyone try to tell you before you went on?
