Hi John, that trick will never get old but you need maximise it by wearing a white suit and pretend that no-one else can see or hear you, occasionally shouting for Jeff or Jeannie!! Shame this one, like the weather, didn't get better, one for deglazing perhaps!! Your interchange with MrWC21 made interesting reading, I think the eye is very forgiving and the enjoyment is enhanced by the sound, including the sound of silence when appropriate. All the best!!
Thank you Mr WC21! These videos are a useful opportunity to experiment with editing techniques but the more I delve into Davinci Resolve the more I realise how out of depth I am! I always liked to think of myself as quite technically competent but getting some seemingly simple things done with this editor can end up being fiendishly complicated!
@@BurgundyWithTweedy I think I mentioned that I had a go with it, but whilst it’s clearly brilliant, it felt like it was designed for people who have a level of understanding about programming. Difficult to use by someone like myself who doesn’t have a clue about that. It reminded me of my futile attempts to use anything with the word “Adobe” in it!
@@WC21UKProductionsLtd I think I look at it a bit like the way I first looked at Burgundy! The more it intimidates the more I feel determined to conquer it!
@@BurgundyWithTweedy I’d say you’re doing well in your mission. The editing on your videos is superb, and lately, I’ve noticed what an amazing job you’re doing at making the footage not look like it was shot on a GoPro. I had a go at that on the GoPro sequences in this week’s video and found it challenging. Not that anyone notices or cares about these things other than us, I suspect!
It is a dirty secret of the whole Tweedy persona, but there was a time when I would go into a restaurant and look at the wine list and feel utterly humiliated that I had no idea what any of the words meant, and then feel intimidated when the waiter came to ask what we'd like to drink... Eventually I figured out I could just pick one very well regarded region, research that to a ridiculous degree, and then poo pah any other region which might be suggested. Not that I go to fancy restaurants much these days, but when I do, I actually now quite enjoy the sparring with the sommeliers. They usually walk away looking irritated, but in my book that's much better than having them feel like they rule the roost!
@@Micktyb Thank you! Unfortunately it didn't really improve! I still really enjoyed being in the great outdoors (well my local park), even if the wine was a bit disappointing. I hope you have a nice evening too!
