Marc Spelmann, already said. It's not a magic. And the real magic is what happen to his wife and daughter.

I think the whole point of Mark's magic was how his daughter was able to survive despite her wife battling with cancer (while the baby was inside her stomach), the magic tricks we're just part of the whole act or simply, were just "tricks" into making people realize the bigger picture. And for that, I think he deserves more than just a golden buzzer. Nice trick reveal tho.

When you do these videos you should put a clip of what the magician is doing on the right then what your doing on the left. So in this video have the audition on the right then you on the left.

Just watched the audition. Absolutely amazing! Took a basic set of tricks and made them so much more with the amazing story! Newbie magician's take note - it's not how easy or hard the routine is, it's how you make people feel when you perform it. He essentially did some very basic forces but the story made the routine so moving and emotional!

For the magician to have the mind to do that trick in Got talent then he deserves a credit that he pulled it off

Nobody made you guys watch this video, so why are you complaining the trick was revealed? Magic isn't a big secret, a lot of people think it is but all of this information (apart from original tricks) can be found even in hard copy books. It's not about "exposing" a trick. It's about showing others how to do them, so that aspiring magicians can also use this trick.

I agree the presentation was amazing... Loved the act. The thing I wished he would have done differently was the last video. If I understand correctly, his daughter was born two years ago. The video was made "two years ago". That was not a new born in the video.

I take no pleasure in people who want to show how smart they are and show how magic is done. It takes the fun out of it. In the circles I walked in as a young man we only disclosed how we did something when another magician mutually did the same, and sometimes never at all. Somethings are just better appreciated and left unsaid, leaving us alone in awe and wonderment one of the joys of life.

THis is what i love about people skills and talents its not always about how its done its how you connect what is done to something where people can emotionally connect to. That is marks true talen and gift. His presentation is beautiful

Marc did magic at my aunt's birthday, he was truly amazing, we asked him to do the trick over and over and still couldn't understand how it was working!

I have another theory on how he did the rubiks cube trick. In the box he already had a identical cube to the one in the film. But its empty on the inside and only has 5 sides (so he's able to drop the other cube inside it). And thats why you were able to hear that kind of click sound as the cube got dropped into the box, because it hit the inside surface of another cube. And thats why he tells Amanda to lift the box off it so carefully, so she doesn't seperate the cubes from eachother and reveal the trick. I even checked if any of the other sides were equal before and after he put it in the box, but none of them were.

I don't get why so many people disliked this video. He did a great job in explaining the tricks and gave a lot of credit to Spelman. He did it to satisfy the hundreds of thousands of people who said "how the hell?" Furthermore, Spelman himself even said "It's not magic" and that his family did.

why so many dislike? if you don't want to know then just don't watch it. you knew it is a reveal video right? no one force you to! He didn't try to be rude or anything, he is just sharing!

I speak for myself. I hate magic. Do not do it to me. I deeply hate it becouse it makes me wonder how that person did it no matter what, which leaves me curious and I hate that feeling, it makes me feel strange and unconfortable until I know how it's done. If I don't see how it's done, everytime I remember about the trick I get this very bad feelings which wont leave me and may make my day harder. That's why I am here. I ended up watching that trick. That's why I try to avoid magic shows. They mess with me. Now just becouse YOU don't wanna know, that doesn't mean I wanna know. And thank God this guy said it.

Before showing the video of his family Marc himself told tht what I did was not magic ...what is magic is what I realised 2 years ago which he meant was how his family got whole and everyone in family was all right tht was magic for him.....however the reveal here is pretty cool!!!! one thing you might be wrong is the cube. if you think the pattern on one side is just from the sticker inside that box, you can't explain why the colors next to the pattern match the original cube. Let's say the corner shown in the video is orange(top, from the sticker), green(side) and white(the other side), but what if the side colors are orange and yellow? if so, you will have 2 oranges...

I am in no way a magician. Marc's story is a true inspiration and I only searched his name to make sure he wasn't using his magic for the wrong reason. The story about his daughter is still a miracle. My mom survived three types of cancer, so I know the pain and suffering. Lucky, for my mom, it was after she had kids. At the same time, I think the benefit of the internet is the information it can provide. I think this magician, Marc Spelmann, is trying to use his skills in a good, way. But, at the same time, I don't see a problem with revealing his tricks. I mean, the internet is out there. The tricks will be revealed. I just hope he doesn't build his talented career around his daughter, but rather the skills his daughter inspired him to pursue.

The real magic in Spelmann's act is not the trick or the "forced" outcome. It's the reminder that real magic is all around us and it's called "life". That reminder alone, is pretty magical to me.

Hate to break the card section of the reveal to bits but if you had actually paid even closer attention to his hands and watched it several times over, how he was holding the cards he didn't count a few from the bottom and bring them to the top like you said. When he was showing the cards to the judge, the top of the deck was in his right palm and he was showing from the bottom sliding them to his left hand. When he placed the deck back together, he slid the cards over to his left hand without ever switching the position of any. If you slow the video down, you can very clearly and very easily see that he not only showed her over half the deck, but he never swapped any. Even more easily seen is if you looked at the cards names and pictures at first and after. The first 3 were Big Bear, Smiling Swan and Clever Cat. When he puts the deck back together those 3 are still in the same position and in the same order on the bottom of the deck. Now explain how when the judge picked the card, she picked the very bottom card which should have been Big Bear but instead it was Puppet Penguin. Looking through the rest of the video and the reveals, yes they all seem correct. The rubiks if you watched fast enough showed 5 yellow squares split between 3 sides of the cube before he put it into the box which only left 4 that could be shuffled around between the last 3 sides, leaving no room for 5 to be on a single side like was shown when he pulled it out. The marker bit easy enough and the crayons too. But the cards, sorry to say your reveal on that was incorrect so I would like to know how it was truly done :).

the rubik's cube shown finally is actually a hollow shell inside which he inserted the actual cube(that shell was already inside the rubiks' cube box). just zoom in to the cube after its relieved and u can see there is no gap between the small cubes and all the cubes are perfectly aligned without even a slight twist.

Keep doing things like this until you are running out of ideas and there's no more magic since everybody's so knowledgeable about magic and how it's done and magic itself will lose it's "magic" nobody will ever be satisfied with what is available and take it to another level which sometimes people like escapologist will really do things to the extreme since old tricks won't satisfy same people twice. Good luck killing them. Same thing happened to demian, a magician of indonesian btw. He did this "Extreme Escape" magic and his crew got thrusted in the bodies by spikes that goes thru the box he is in. Once again, good luck

In this age of technology, it becomes harder and harder to hide things, but this is how magicians make their living, and if you don’t want to see magic die completely, I would recommend we keep away from these types of videos. For you CardShuffler, I recommend you stop make these videos and create something original as all these other hardworking magicians are.

I don't know why this video got so many dislikes. He gave really good assumptions/solutions for how Mark did each trick based on well-known magic tricks while at the same time showing a lot of respect for Mark as a fellow magician. If you're butthurt because he spoiled the trick for you, maybe next time don't go searching for a REVEAL video of a magic trick. If you're mad because he took 2-3 min to get to the trick, there are plenty of comments with timestamps of where the revealing begins. Much respect to Cardshuffler99!
