RIP Marcel Dadi (1951-1996) A victim onboard TWA Flight 800 which crashed near East Moriches, New York due to a fuel tank explosion caused by a short circuit.
You mean a fuel tank explosion caused by an errant surface-to-air missile. Please don't dishonor the memory of the dead by furthering this gross and ridiculous lie forced on us by the FBI. Thank you.
He had only come to America to be honored at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame for his contributions to guitar style...an aching irony..what a beautiful performance!
Bonjour, je vous informe de la nouvelle chaine RU-vid LES ARCHIVES A DADI, en hommage à Marcel Dadi. J'ai pensé qu'elle pourrait vous intéresser. Bonne guitare à tous ! Matthieu Castel LES ARCHIVES A DADI
The God of Picking Guitar with the Guitar of the Gods for an inevitably divine song... I hope those who watched this video measure the chance they had! Thanks for posting and hopes for a world as peaceful as this tune!
Hello. There's only one guitar like this one in the world ! "Princess" was designed and hand-made for Marcel Dadi by his friend Frank CHEVAL, well known guitar maker in France. I was in Issoudun the day Frank gave it to Marcel. This day is still alive in my mind !!!
I met Marcel a couple of times over the years and the Princess guitar is presently owned by a close friend of mine. Too bad Marcel is gone, he was an inspiration. 💖
Fred, I met the man in Muhlenburg County- his heart was that peaceful, and that was the root of this music. Many thanks, GtrWorkShp, for posting. See you on the other side, Dadi (tell Pappaw & Travis I said hello).
He makes it look so easy and mellow just by virtue of watching the fingers on this video but it isn't like that easy once you try it lol. I'm finding its a technique that you have to grasp to get the strings harmonizing at the right tempo which lends itself to Jazz fingerstyle and a good ear for music.
The crash of the Air France jet yesterday reminded me of the great Marcel Dadi who lost his life in a similar plane crash. What a great loss of a great talent.
I am disappointed by the fact that this style of peaceful and clever music is that much ignored and forgotten by the world... We have to admit that for these needs of relaxing art that we got sometimes, more and more often these days, RU-vid is very helpful.
Marcel DADI dies with the Flight TWA 800 crash. He composed many Plays with tablatures for Guitar players. His Masters: Chet Atkins, Doc Watson, Merle Travis. With him at the Olympia in Paris plays Jean-Felix Lalanne.
please someone post a vid on how to pla this song. I was able to find tabs but they don't sound the same. If someone could post a vid on how to play this it would be much appreciated
Lovely, of course. Reminds me of Ted Greene, if you like this electric fingerpicking. However, this tune is not by Satie, whose Je Te Veux of the same name is in 3/4, for one thing. And it is not Dylan's "I Want You", either. Who wrote this Je Te Veux?
Pour un petit hommage à celui qui m'a fait aimé la guitare et son picking car sans lui je n'aurais jamais joué... Vous pouvez écouter la suite chez bobyjack2.
@GaryNull explained in his book : our bones build strenght by working all day . And so do the nails :) you can try some nail polish too , but i never achieved success with those ... the polish is just really a decorative skin , doesn't makes the nail harder :'/
Ever since the time i heard of Marcel Dadi's death in that wellknown catastrophy i always check the names of the deaths in planecrashes to make sure no gods were harmed.
