The best cover of Celine Dion is a man. He is incredible. The big difference is he can mimic the voices of the original singers and even if he uses his natural voice, he still sounds amazing. Fabulous reaction. In my opinion, this is Marcelito's best cover by far. As you may know, Celine Dion's native language is French (i.e. she is from French speaking Canada). She had to learn English to become successful. Thus, her pronunciation of "love" has a slight "r" sound in it. A poor spelling would be "lerv". You can hear it in her rendition of "The Power of Love". Now, if you listen very closely to Marcelito's imitation in "The Power of Love", you will notice that he imitates her pronunciation of "love" exactly as she does it. Additionally, I agree with you that Marcelito's cover of "The Power of Love" is actually better than Celine's rendition. I believe the reason is less nasality. Finally, if I were to hear Marcelito live, I would very likely fall into a frequency induced coma. 😂🤣
Did not know about the original other than Celine. He does a "fake cough" every so often after a sing. With all due respect, kindly try to pronounce his last name correctly: Pomoy. Sorry If i got his name wrong, please understand i this is the first time i ever heard of him so what you saw was Real. I knew nothing about him until now. I respect him and i am now a big fan of his. I would love to meet him one day. He is a hero not only to the people of the Philippines but to other human beings who have had a hard life. Please help Marcelito earn big money here in US. He was homeless when he was only 7 years old. He had to fend for himself. I cry whenever he sings because he helped himself and no voice lesson and/or training at all.

Marcelito will be on ELLEN on Oct 29. I hope this is his big break and he FINALLY will get the respect his talent deserves. I've seen him live in Chicago and he's unbelievable! His voice is so clear and crisp and he sings like it's nothing. He is gifted and never had any formal training although he may have a voice coach now. This is him singing the song Perfect in Italian in his own "real" voice. It's beautiful. Watch Morissette singing "Secret Love Song" than watch her and Marcelito's duet of it. In the beginning he sings high and sounds so much better than her but changes to his mid-range voice so that he doesn't out perform her!
