Marcelito’s flawless angelic voice showcased in the “Power of Love” & the “Prayer” will definitely give you goosebumps. His tone, his calmness and ease of singing this very difficult ballad is a testament of God’s gift to him. I love your honest reaction. God bless.
At this time he spoke no English nor Italian. He had no idea what he was singing. He was homeless from age 7, until age 24. He learned songs by listening to them over and over and copying what they did. He literally sung for his food. He won Philippines Got Talent with this song and was homeless no more. Amazing isn't it
He sings in Spanish, Chinese, French, English, Italian, Tagalog, Visayas etc. into many voices and Into wide octave. The songs he sings were beautiful songs that we truly appreciate and we are thankful to you with your channel for sharing good and beautiful songs and music. Thank you for the music. Thanks to you too.
Oh God!!!! I d0n't know how many times I've watch Marcelito sing and watch every reactions and still, everytime I hear him sing I can't help but have goose bumps, chills and get emotional, That's how good he is, I don't know if you've heard him sing Despacito, gosh! That was awesome and The power of love, He also had a recording "Duet himself" Boy! It's good He even do harmonys', Thou' it's a recording, but it's awesome especially when he switches and combine those voices in perfect harmony, heavens! This guy is amazing.
Neither the English or Italian language is native to Marcelito. He is Filipino. He's singing in a feminine voice, who is probably not singing in her native language. On top of all that, singing Italian and English in a masculine voice. He is also doing it sitting down. And doing a amazing job! Thanks for a great reaction. Cheers
English is his 3rd language because even though he is filipino he is from the Visayas region and Filipino / Tagalog is his 2nd language. Bisaya being 1.
He has never had any vocal training! He was homeless in the streets of the Phillipines from 2 years old until around 16 years old - he was looking for his family. He can sing in 7 languages (neither his own language) but he cannot carry out a conversation in those languages. It is totally amazing! Enjoy your journey listening to Marcelito - you won't be bored!! :-)
Great reactions ....Marcelito is one of the wonders of the world..............my eyes are filled with tears of joy and gratitude .......I can never stop watching this....Goosebumps , crazy, unique, fabulous...i have never seen anything like this ...One man duet.......its is insanely amazing!!!!! my eyes are filled with tears, my body is shaking with surprise and joy....Marcelito is so special
He's completely self-taught.He was abandoned by his mother in the streets of the Philippines at age 7-18 where he taught himself to sing In 2011 he won PHILIPPINES GOT TALENT AND HIS LIFE CHANGED FROM RAGS TO RICHES
Marcelito is a very fan friendly down to earth performer...loves to sing..a true treasure.. Love to listen to him everyday.. Thanks for your reaction..
I'd say he's just Gifted, don't you? I'm not a Professional but Love to sing. I'm q Die Hard Fan of Marcelito and he's also my Countrymen. I SAW him here in Canada in 219 Concert and he's great, Humble and a very Talented Singer. He grew up very poor and didn't have any Formal Training at all, he just just Love too sing since Childhood! Have a great day Stay Safe GOD BLESS
I've seen like EVERY reaction EVER to this version... and it astonishes me that most people don't pick up that he's singing in 2 different languages! Lol both of which are not his native tongue! This was a great reaction btw...i LOVE your accent! ❤
Not mentioning it doesn't mean they don't pick it up. It's like... the least impressive part of what he's doing. Memorizing a song in another language is not very hard. It's not remotely comparable to actually speaking the language. It can be done in under an hour.
@@vinchinzo594 Yet so many foreign singers cannot sing English songs in anything near a correct accent (like Dimash), unlike Marcelito and other Filipinos who don't speak English well but sing idiomatically.
The things and feeling you feel is same as me when I first heared him singing this song. Marcelito is one of our great singer here in the Philippines who won grand prize winner in The PGT or Pilipinas Got Talent
it's always like this, first the fun, then the surprise and finally the admiration, also because he seems to be making no effort in extending his voice to infinity both above and below .. he's very good
Marcelito is the king switching voices with distinct different tunes so effortless with no vocal training self taught try to react Unchained Melody, Hallelujah Perfect by Ed Shereen, I believe in you thanks for your nice reaction
New SUBSCRIBER here 🙂🙂🙂thank you for reacting to Marcelito Pomoy...Please continue reacting to Marcelito Pomoy and other Filipino talented performers like Morissette Amon, KZ Tandingan and many more...God bless 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Tnx for appreciating Marcelito's God Given Raw Talent. He had no professional training in all his freaking life. You better watch/react to his performance at "America Got Talent: The Champion Edition". He sang 3 songs, The Prayer, Con Te Partiro, and Beauty and the Beast. Am sure you'll love it even more. He's the overwhelming Audience favorite. Pls continue reacting to Pilipino Artists and am sure all the more you'll be amazed. Try the lastest viral duet of Katrina Velarde and Jessica Villarubin, "I Surrender" by Celine Dion. Be ready for the shock of your life. BTW. where are you from? Am intrigue by your accent/diction.
@@chattcedric6321 Yes I am. If you support this "God" given talent notion, then can you provide indisputable proof? Further, if you believe in this Judeo/Christian myth, why does this capricious "God" give talent to some and not others? Why do Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Wicka and even Atheists have talent while many extremely devout Christians miss out? Don't trot out the usual old Christian line that is produced when their belief is challenged and they can't answer, "The Lord moves in mysterious ways.". The best and worst on the planet is human, there is no "God" involved but if there was that entity is not worth supporting given all the mess they have delivered within their "creation". Christians want to praise "God" given talent and glory in the sunsets and butterflies, while conveniently ignoring viruses, bacteria, disease, natural disasters etc and seem to forget the billions of prayers that go unanswered when they want to praise "God" for answering one. PS Just as there is no "God" of any description, there is no such word as " 'coz".
I am a big fan of Marcelito Pomoy, I am a Filipino like he is. I have watched many reactions to his version of My Prayer. I like your reaction the most! It was very honest and natural. Thank you for your praises
Your reaction during the Bocelli portion where you got the chills. That section that crescendos always gets me😢. It is beautiful and powerful. Thank you for your fun and heartfelt reaction. Loved it.
@@BisscuteReacts such reactions are why we watch reactions to the same song 100 times over and over again. yours was one of the best ! (experiencing this for the first time is special, and we can't do it a second time ourselves :-( thus watch others hearing it for the first time) btw: he doesn't speak any italian, and at that time also english not very well, and yet he did both parts fantastically, and (as some italians commented) almost flawless. ps: since you liked this, you should also react to more wishbus performances ... Marcelito "Power of love", and Morisette ("Rise up", "Never enough", "Akin ka na lang", "Secret love song", and then many more), and after those four suggestions, also a live duet of Marcelito and Morisette of "Secret love song" on the "Wish music awards" next suggestion would be Pentatonix: "Hallelujah" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" (you already did the original by Queen). then there is one more rabbit hole that you can't avoid: Dimash (most reactors start with "SOS" which i find not 'the best' but 'the best introduction to him', like the first chapter of a good book that gets you started), followed by "Sinfull passion", "Love is like a dream", "Your love", and "Unforgettable day" (this has to be the version from GAKKU !!!), "Adagio", "Ogni pietra", "Ti amo cosi" (with Lara Fabian and Aida), and many many other songs and when you reach Lara Fabian, you get to the next rabbit hole, starting with "je suis malade", "Adagio", "Love is like a dream" (yes, the same songs that also Dimash did 10+ years after her; she is his idol) and many others, and you should always prefer her live performances.
how could i forget that other rabbit hole ... Angelina Jordan ! going backwards in time ... at age 9 "i put a spell on you", "all performances of norways got talent" which she won at age 7/8, "i who have nothing" was her first time in a studio at age 6, and 100++ more songs on youtube. just for fun also her "worst performance" when she sang Whitney Houston in a family video at one and a half years (but who starts singing Whitney songs before being 2 full years of age ? :-)
Impressionante range di tono, due cantanti in uno, C.Dion e A.Bocelli, passa da inglese e italiano con la massima velocità....un vero fenomeno!!!!!!!!!
He is a wonder man from another planet, he is 4 in 1, sings a dual voice in Italian and English Languages, I have been watching him keenly from Nigeria
Binging your videos. You are the most intelligent, insightful, and entertaining song reaction person I’ve found. I’ve found myself laughing out loud and agreeing with you a lot. A lot of reaction channels come across fake, you don’t. Great channel.
That’s his incredible talent, his very own gift, now he shares to the world of music, in this generation - there are more, try to explore! I love your reaction the way Marcelito sings!!!
I absolutely love your reactions! So genuine! My feelings exactly, I am so jealous of his talents. Especially considering his very humble beginning. I have seen others learn songs for a cover on a language they don't know. Marcelito's rendition of this song is extraordinary, especially considering he is sitting down and doing it live. Great review and so cute was your review.
There is a wedding video where he sings "Perfect" in Italian. Also on AGT he did a quicky version on "Time to Say Goodbye." He has also got an appearance on Ellen. With a translator as he spoke only limited English.
be aware that all those american shows require songs to be cut down to some specific time to allow for enough commercial breaks. and shows like AGT also often manipulate performances and twist and turn backstory and what is shown, even copying scenes from the finals and pasting them to the semifinals (both recorded half a year earlier) and then suggesting that it might be live. the producers make a small list of songs to select from, and Simon is an executive producer of the show, and yet he said that he was surprised by the bad choice of songs that Marcelito did. Therefore i avoid to watch these shows or performances from these shows if a song is available somewhere in a longer/original version (which is the case with the wishbus "prayer", but apparently not for "con te partiro / time to say goodbye"). privately watch the "less than 2 minute AGT version" of the prayer to see what they have done to the song.
His voice is out of this earth maybe in mars🤭 my man is absolutly amazing guy he win philippine got talent and he is popular worldwide he also join Americas got talent all people love him and his unbelievable talent.. thats my man all filipino are proud of him
He's a Filipino and he seemed gifted by our GOD for him to use and share his talent in singing. Singing in dual voice interchangeably from English to Italian languages is simply amazing. We are very proud of him for he is who he is. God Bless.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching your brain trying to load. 😆 Not only was Marcelito switching back and forth between English and Italian, but being Filipino, neither of those is his native tongue. An otherworldly performance.
Hi pretty lady, if you want to hear him more as you heared him like femanine voice from him please do a reaction also their duet of MARCELITO POMOY & MORISSETTE AMON a SECRET LOVE song's, and also to MORISSETTE AMON her song AKIN KA NALANG at same FM station 1075 wish bus so you can relate how they are really Filipino artest just subs here in Philippines and yeah! by the way thanks for reaction our own artest, as I looking you I also amazed your honest reaction being a first timer reactor and thanks so much pretty lady 😍🤗
all who have watched this video were stunned and most were left speechless for a while, voice technicians often looked liked they have their brain tased from disbelief.

😀👏 I just love your voice and accent, how you pronounce words. So lovely, lovely face and lovely voice and funny. He is great, untrained, such a story. Diana Ankudinova is abit the female version from Russia. Dimash Qudaibergan FROM Kazakhstan is on a higher level of this switching genres and tones jumping octaves smoothly. Angelina Jordan & Emily Bear are 2 others too.
haha cutest reaction ever! - cute ! theres somethin in that phillipine water ! i swear ! love love love all ur reactions ! wow just love all ur music reatctions ! cant wait to see more - much love to u and urs ! aww music hits our souls sometimes - the best -
For Macelito's "normal"voice" Try is rendition of "Despacito" (Luis Fansi and Daddy Yankee) and is done in Spanish. Also, I you know Morisette Amon, for 2017 Wish Awards where they sing a duet of Secret Love Song (Little Mix) - try to get the Wish Video, it is better quality. If you want to see his switching ability, there is the Remote Control Challenge, that cannot be rehearsed since it is an impromptu. Although not singing in two different languages, He performs "Endless Love" (Diana Ross and Lionel Ritchie).Make sure it is the Remote Control Challenge, since there is a full performance Endless Love in a video of it's own.
the remote control challenge is unbelievable. but be careful (blurring that video etc), since i have heard that that tv station is quite strict with copyright.
Your reaction is very good. You can win a best actress performance in the Oscar awards. I'm not saying you are faking it it's just the reaction is overwhelming. Good job
Hi Bisscute Thanks again for your great choice and your true comments. Filipinos are so talented! Let me give you a suggestion with a Filipino singer also coming from the street. Check for Journey rock group from the 80’s. The previous singer was Steve Perry who is a great singer, and after several years he left the group and has been replaced by Arnel Pineda from Philippines. So let’s compare these two singers and you will discover how Arnel is amazing! Continue your great job and congratulations
In addition to your funny ways of expressing yourself, you know a lot of music, you know what you listen to. Marcelito in Celine mode he sings pop style, in Bocelli mode he sings in opera mode, a monster
hi, Bisscute, totally understood the total confusion, well just like you said yourself brain still processing and not yet found. that for me is hilarious enough, but may i welcome you to Marcelito's World, glad you can make it here too, hopefully after witnessing this phenomenon, you already processed it. anyways thanks for reacting in his performan ce, try his rendition of Cote Partiro or time to say goodbye another italian opera song. and She's Gone too.
