without videos like this, i just wouldn't DO things, fun things like emulation! because i'm too hasty and don't read instructions well or just don't have the right instincts and make ridiculous mistakes. i so appreciate when someone takes the time to tell me EVERY SINGLE step to take, down to closing different windows and tabs. like, this is just superb. thank you so so much. everything is perfect with this tutorial. kudos!!!

done this with cemu 2.0, so skipped the hook section as it doesn't work with cemu 2.0 but the rest still applies from the video minus a few sections where the UI is missing some of the tweaks shown in the video due to version differences. followed everything else and it works like a charm thank you for the awesome vid, keep up the great work and appreciate you

For anybody reading and playing with second wind: 1) Use Cemu 1.26.2f instead of 2.0 (unless SW discord states otherwise) as this is the recommended version for modded BOTW as of May 2024 2) Use BCML instead of UKMM (unless SW discord states otherwise) as this is the recommended mod manager for modded BOTW as of May 2024 3) Use BCML 3.10.4 if you want to use old mods. (the command is "pip install bcml==3.10.4"
when i am cemu (1.26.2f) i cant find the gamepad motion source setting on options. edit: im stupid and didnt watch 5 seconds into the video were he mentioned you could use the input settings instead. edit 2: THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS HELPED ME ALOT I CAN FINALLY PLAY BOTW WITH MODS AFTER TRYING TO FOR OVER 2 MONTHS!!!
7:31 There's no meta file to select on my side :( There's no option to show different types of data either. edit: Just select the empty folder and it works
You made one little mistake in the "specific Gpu workaround" section. You said you where using the vulkan api if that is so then you don't need to check anything in the "specific Gpu workaround" section as that is only appliable if you are using OpenGL. Just a heads up.
This was a good tutorial but I couldn’t get the performance I wanted, are a gaming laptop with a 3070 in it, I was only getting 1080p with sub 40fps with studdering issues so oh well
how to swap the B and A buttons and X and Y buttons please? I have an off-brand switch controller but it gets detected as an xbox controller. It was working fine on my old PC but now no matter what I do it keeps detecting the xbox 360 buttons
What about Zelda a links awakening? That was a very underrated game i loved. Id also swap twilight princess with Majoras mask. Majoras mask was an amazing game and what i'd consider Ocarina of time 2.
I did ALL of these steps except for the Ram one since I'm using 32gb ram, I have the SAME graphics card as yours in the video, even left some of the graphics on default instead of super high, AND am only trying for 60fps @1080p, but my BOTW still lags like crazy and lowers FPS to 40 whenever it does
@@thangnguyenuc5352 I think its something about the caches with the new drivers on amd cards and cpus at least thats what I think. I couldnt find a solution about this sadly its always 40 fps for some reason

Thank you for making this guide. I followed it and was able to get BotW working at a buttery smooth 4K 60FPS, but a few days later when I tried playing again, Cemu was acting like I was starting it for the first time and it forgot all of my settings and I can't access the cheats/mods/graphics pack. Do you have any idea what I may have done wrong?
Do you know how to play LOZ Wind Waker? I've installed it through usbhelper but it doesn't appear when I go to the install game title in file option and select Wind Waker it just opens until there isn't anything to click on I need help with loading it.
At 16:48 where you change your paging file size DON'T DO THIS. This will barely give you a boost in performance, if none at all, and will only lead to issues down the road. Let Windows do all the work for you automatically.

Sorry im really confused rn, i followed the guide step by step, but when i load into Cemu to try update the game, it isnt there instead theres just a thing saying You where the game should be. Another thing is the file is down but instead of the name in the vid it has a bunch of Numbers and .rar at the end

You have to unpack, just download the game again being sure checking unpack. It'll be much quicker this time because you already downloaded the packed version.
