I have the basma stick and I’m obsessed …I purchased it on the last Sephora sale on a whim and so glad I did. I have dry mature skin and was scared at first…it’s perfection. I’m also amazed how it’s my perfect shade. I’ve never had a truer match for foundation.
The clinique shadow sticks are amazing! I bought because of your recommendation in a prior video. I love mine in shade flame and ember. It stays on all day long without budging, and is so easy to apply and looks beautiful. This is coming from someone who is awful at eye makeup.

Selbey, loving the overall look and background in your new space. Always enjoy your reviews. Suggestion: LED lights emit a cool/grey look. Add incandescent light to warm it up and it'll be perfect. There was a video on this phenomena regarding the film industry and the result is night and day.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience with the Basma foundation stick; I keep hearing nothing but good feedback from others trying it but I've still been on the fence given the price point, so it's great hearing you specifically talk about how flattering it is on texture, which I have a ton of. Since it provides good coverage this may work better for me than the Fenty stick when I have breakouts/hyperpigmentation to tone down. (Something else I'd like to highlight is how helpful Basma's swatch photos are! Finally a brand puts on REAL swatches on actual skin in realistic lighting, not Photoshop nonsense.) Lordy, that Le Labo fragrance would be SO up my alley as I'm such a hoe for lavender but I wish it didn't cost a kidney. 😂 This sounds like it would be my dream scent. (I actually love the concept of "expensive laundry detergent" smell LOL.) I'll check out that new Finery one, though!
I have tried soooo many times to find a stick foundation for my dry aging skin to no avail. Fingers crossed this one works. I like them for travel because they don’t count as a liquid.
Legit going to drive 45 minutes to my closest Target just to smell the fine’ry perfume. It sounds amazing. And I’m definitely going to pick up the Clinique shadow stick. I’ve been loving the elf liquid blush, now that I have a pretty good handle on it 😆

Oh! You should and do a comparison. 😂 I like it but I hear so many good things about the persona one too! I know you’ve tried the Makeup by Mario skin enhancer, and I’ve heard that one never really dries down. Does the persona one dry down, or stay tacky? That’s what I appreciate about the Rare Beauty one too, it dries down nicely!
@shelbywilson I also went darker with my hair color loosing the highlights, but it has too much red. What color is your hair color? Salon colorist, or did you do it yourself. If so, what brand and color ID? Loved the video! Going to check out several of the product recommendations. 🙏🏼
