Let's chat about the books I read in March. Grab some tea because I get a little chatty! Wanda M. Morris's Spotify playlist: Reading Anywhere You Run by Wanda M. Morris open.spotify.c...
I’m so sorry for your loss😢. Right now I’m reading Born a Crime, which is so GOOD! People have told my the audio is even better, since he’s the narrator. I wish I could concentrate on audiobooks, since it’s a great way to do other things while consuming the book, but my mind ends up wandering too much.
Hey Beth! Sorry, I have taken so long to reply. We are all still trying to process our loss while still keeping up with regular life happenings. I have both the book and the audio and for some strange reason, I keep forgetting to get to Born a Crime. I think the audio will be great. I have seen him live doing stand-up, he's brilliant. Some audiobooks I can't listen to and do something else. Find a light fun book and try doing it in small amount of times while washing dishes or something that doesn't require your focus. With the right narrator and book I bet you will like it. Narrators can make or break it for me so that is something to keep in mind while you search for one. If you can listen to a sample first. I use the Libby and Hoopla app. Libby lets you sample before you borrow. Have a lovely weekend my friend!
Oh, Belinda. My condolences from the heart. These past years have been heavy with losses, both personal and collective. So I admire your committment to reading and sharing with us. Wasn't that time thing with Perfect Peace embarrassing? It also happened to me. What an unforgettable book. Long live playlists!
Hello, my dear friend! I look forward to us both being on time this weekend for our next book club discussion. I was so embarrassed and wanted to disappear but I am glad I stayed for an interesting post-talk discussion. See you Sunday.
