While on my break from the Great Loop, I have been keeping in contact with American Great Loop Cruisers Association (AGLCA). It is still great fun to see what everyone else is up to.
The past month has been full of doing jobs around my son’s home, reconnecting with several of my RU-vid followers, reconnecting with some old friends, getting yearly physical and dental checkups.
NOT USE Angie’s list - unless you really like to get LOTS of spam phone calls. To locate a sheet rock company, I made the mistake of using Angie’s list. My phone has blown-up with spam phone calls and texts! Ouch Lesson learned.
As of this writing, what I can do on my own in the garage is done. New lights installed, new wall erected, and insulation installed. Tomorrow a person is coming to install and tape the sheet rock. We are saving some money by having me as the second guy. (The Go For …..) I hope I have purchased enough sheet rock! Time will tell.
Reconnecting with Ferm Bluffs square dance group has been great. They have lessons every Wednesday and I have been there for almost everyone of the lessons. Thanks to Fern Bluffs I feel confident enough to attend a level dance tonight.
