@@adolphinnamedinfernicus6520 the extreme detail and forward facing predator eyes and the fact I was reading it on a 15 inch iPad really freaked me out. The anime did an amazing job animating it because it freaked me out all over again.
love the detail that Marcille actually has no eyelashes after they fell off when she turned to stone lmao. That wasnt in the manga which is such a funny addition
at first i thought this anime is like typical fantasy anime... handsome knight, beautiful elf.... how wrong am i... this anime is perfect... the happy go lucky laios, the angry and kind marcille, the responsible chillchuck and the goat senshi.... love this anime
In TTRPGs with magic, there are typically cures for petrification. If you don't have any immediately on hand then the next logical thing to do is buckle down and try to avoid making the situation worse. Marcille could have lost a lot more than just some eyelashes in her panic if she had been petrified mid-fall or something.
@@kylepessell1350and in some TTGs even being healed of petrification you aren't scot-free, gotta also make a fortitude save for your heart and nervous system to restart on their own after what amounted to a bodily hard shutdown
@@Mordecrox Of course it's better to not have to deal with such an emergency in the first place. However, being equipped with knowledge on how to minimize the damage is excellent foresight and I respect Laios all the more for it.
I love to see how much this anime brings out the nerd in everyone. Any other anime and the comments are always about mommy milkers and the gyatt but the comments for this anime are always so interesting
even if logicaly petrification from poison would be slower, from a comedic standpoint this was great. and as usual marcille gets enougth badass to baalance things and put contrats that she kepps being our favorite victim.
This is literally what my fighter did in dnd when he got temporarily petrified by a cockatrice... squat down, tucked in, as little protruding as possible.
No one talks about how good the design is. The Basilisk is a giant chicken with a second snake head, but it's shows people how effective the chicken body plants is, when it is the sizes of a Cassowary, while the Cockatrices body plants is similar to a wild mountains chickens or rooster breed for chicken fights. It's really illustrate the increase in threat levels from a chicken of the size of a giant flightless birds, to a chicken of that size, selectively breeds for fighting genes.
Any impressions in your skin against fabric become pointed and brittle after petrification. Since she's firmly sat down, the coarse pants would be wedged and pressed against her legs which could cause skin damage.
@@razorburn645 possibly. Maybe it's not about abrasions, but it's about the fact that if they need to operate on her, the pants are the only thing they can't possibly take off while she is petrified in that position.
Jesus Christ has died and risen again so that everyone that believes in Him might be saved. We are to repent of our sins and believe in Him so that we may have salvation after death. Read the New Testament of the Bible for more information.
I thought the whole point of becoming a Christian was to AVOID reading the Bible. Do you have any idea how low Biblical literacy IS among self-declared practicing Christians? (Or maybe it's an American Baby Boomer tendency? They're bibliophobic.)
