Stefan Folk no I didn’t, I didn’t have the gear for beach fishing. I did however go out on a near shore guided fishing trip and it was the biggest waste of money

What boat did you go on for the near shore trip? I'm doing one in April. What road was that bridge on?

Daniel Sweeney sorry for the late response, but I had my best luck when there was current, so look for that. Tried artificial stuff but simply had zero luck with that so I basically used shrimp the whole time. With a kayak you should be able to do a lot, good luck out there

I have a house in Marco you could rent a boat or kayak and try the flats or backwater.

Yeah a lot mostly caught blacktip sharks

PNK_CheddaCheese if you are using shrimp, then the hook size depends on size of shrimp. When you buy shrimp ask from a hook size, they will tell ya what to get
