This "He`s better or faster than this or that drummer" is really annoying. Good drummers learn from each other and they are normally a big community, with respect for all kinds of music styles and abilities. Many well known drummers even adore Ringo Starr, maybe not for extraordinary speed, but for the "Feel" he brought to the songs. Thank`s for the upload.
It is annoying... but Marco is better than mostly everyone, haha.. but yeah.. that mentality doesn't get you anywhere in music. Who cares, it's just motivation to work harder!!
Marco an md Thomas Lang are my top drummers. I kind of have a deep affection for portnoy for his work in dream theater. Donatti also of course should be mention
I've always been a great fan of 'less is more' so I preferred guys like Jeff Porcaro, Bernard Purdie, Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan etc... But sometimes you just want a little more and in that case I really prefer to listen to really 'musical drummers' .. guys that have the chops and really add something to the music.. in that case you really can't go wrong with Marco Minneman and Benny Greb.. Yes Marco might have some alien-like chops but come one.. you have to admit it's friggin' awesome!! :) I totally love this dude... (no homo!) :P
extreme exercising, not extreme playing, not being a hater. just stating my opinion as kick ass drummer ... were always working on our power exercising... I would like to hear more from you playing some double, triple, and quad,alternate stoking exercising.Keep up the good drumming
Theres a second bass drum attached to the front of the drum hes actually hitting. It's just to make it sound better! Lots of drummers do this in studio and sometimes live as well....im not sure exactly how it effects the sound but I imagine it deepens the tone and mutes it a little? like I said...not sure
Dylan Ellise ha demostrado ser un excelente baterista, pero pienso que no es mejor ni peor, si no que los 2 son tan versatiles como para manejarse en variedad de estilos, yo sinceramente no sabria comparar, pero a diferencia de minneman, ellise es mucho mas joven..
Uhhh another RU-vidr that uses RU-vid as a means to turn an artform into a sport like someone is better than someone else...obviously you've missed the point of playing an instrument...that is...if you are actually a player yourself
The correct way to state this is : 'Dylan Elise is better than this.' Even though Dylan is a great drummer, I must admit, but he isn't better, he's just different. There are so many Amazing drummers out there, in reality is impossible to name a best. I've got at least 10 equal as #1. Music is not a competition. I'm a drummer myself.
