Great video. Had the chance to see both Doug and Clay make presentations at different conferences about three years ago. Both put on great programs that I would highly recommend. Clay got me interested in both wide angle macro and Meet your Neighbors style photography.

I don't either. And I've been scratching around on the Internet looking for photographic how-to stuff ever since I got my iPhone. And his photo quality is better than most others too - move over Nat Geo Wild!

I really enjoyed this video. I have only been doing wildlife photography for about a year, but the little critters do fascinate me so. It sounds like extension tubes and a macro lens will be good investments. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

For anybody who is interested in high speed macro nature photography you could try to get hold of a book by Stephen Dalton called 'Caught in Motion'. It's crammed full of the most amazing photographs of birds and insects photographed in an era when the photo technology we take for granted today DIDN'T EXIST. Stephen had to INVENT it. It's a sort of autobiographical record of how he did it. You'll have to fossick around in a second hand bookshop because it's out of print but maybe you can get a second hand copy on Amazon or some such. But it's worth it - this is an amazing book.

Canon EX rt 600 or 430 iii EX rt can be controlled remotely with iether FLASH set up as master. Or with Canon remote trigger ST-E3-RT.

Canon makes cameras with pop up / external flash control...7 d, 7d mii, t4i and I believe one more. Now with 430 ex iii rt and 600 ex rt speedlites with radio trigger built in and both speedlites can be master or slave theres. No need for pocket wizards or pop up controlled.
