Amo a Igor y a Nastya !! ❤❤❤❤❤
What scenery! What magnificent wardrobe! To choreographer and the seamstress on the backstage my great bow, for the dresses of these dancers are a master piece.
Beautiful Performance!!💖What a breathtaking rendition of Marco Spada all was perfection from the dancers technicality and musicality the orchestra to the corps de ballet Tsvirko and Stashkevich are the essence of Marco and Angela Bravo!!😄
I watched the revival version with David Hallberg just now; and I can see why Lacotte wanted to redo it. It is unfortunate that Nureyev was not well for this difficult choreography that is clearly asking for fireworks! He was a great dancer who really helped moved such a style along, particularly for the men. He should be remembered for his legacy, and some very fun group choreography in things like Sleeping Beauty; and not for how this performance went.
Absolutely wonderful... I discovered this production through a friend who posted it in my ballet group. Love the music (have it on CD) and the costumes and you are a true Russian School classical dancer.. fantastic. Who is the choreographer? Those steps look so Bournonville style.
Yes, I see it in description now, Bournonville and Lacotte steps are so similar, I think Pharaoh's Daghter was choreographed by both at some point or was it just Lacotte after Petipa?
Thank you, will look.. just was watching a brand new post of Diamonds from Marinsky and was astounded by the lightness and beautiful form of 38 year old Tsiskaridze who danced with Lopatkina. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WePyCdRAKMc.html
Oh, almost forgot Le Sylphide.. it was Le Sylphide I was thinking of as choreographed by both at different times, Which is the version danced today? Lacotte or Bournonville? It's so hard to take them apart.
I love it too! You can find some recordings on RU-vid and and iTunes but they are all super super fast. So I just resort to listening to the performance videos.
