Those senators who voted against CJ Corona received funds from PDAF. It is a President funds for emergency purposes. It was unconstitutional to distribute to the senators. CJ Corona voted against Hacienta Luisita. PNoy doesn't want Corona to be Chief Justice in his term. He want Corona to be removed immediately.
This is one big example of how politicians use media to gain fame. Remember here in our country fame can lead to victory if you are in politics. Like PNOY, when his mother died suddenly his name became popular for him to run for the presidency instead of Mar Roxas, who is the one willing but due to popularity LP took advantage of that situation and then what happened is chaos isn't it?! why? because we did not think for the right leader and just rely on who is famous and let the media manipulated us. Think about this Pilipino people, if only Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago became president prior to Pres. Duterte, I think the Philippines is in much better shape before our PDU30's regime. But Sen. Miriam did not run at that time? Why? Because She knew that track record is not important, qualification is not important, sincerity is not important, the capability to govern is not important but FAME and FAME itself is the most important key to become President. What he said is true. What is the point of a trial when it is not fair? Sure, warn all of the corrupt officials, but what about those who are innocent? What if Corona was truly innocent? This is a precedent made by the Senate saying that they will convict ANY person (like you and me) who shouldve been innocent until proven guilty with "feeling" alone through ethical loopholes. Trust me; law in the Philippines? Bleh!
I'm not pro-corona. Kung me sala, parusahan. Ang problema nasa prosecution yung burden to show na "beyond reasonable doubt" ang guilt ng akusado. At hindi lang yun, dapat din nasa grounds ng batas yung basehan nila... As many have said, even Sen. Defensor-Santiago has said, errors in SALN can be, i.e., allowed by the law to be CORRECTED! Sen. Bongbong Marcos sounds great and full of integrity just like his father when he was starting as a politician. That's why my Dad voted for him in the 1960s as president. But eventually became a dictator, detaining or killing or causing the disappearance of all his opponents. I hope Bongbong will not come out to be like his father.

Kung napapanood nyo ang mga video ng mga studyanteng narecruit ng mga CPP NPA at kung papano sila nagtotorture bago pumatay ay 10 x pa ang bagsik ng mga CPP NPA sa pamumuno mismo ni Jomna Sison nung panahon ni Marcos. Mass massacre ang pag patay nila at ibinibintang lahat kay Marcos. Tulad ng ginawa nila sa Plaza Miranda . May mga na patay din ang mga sundalo na mga rebeldeng walang ginawa kundi puro perwisyo. At may mga sundalo at pulis ( metrocom) ding abusado pero hindi kasama sa policy ni Marcos yun. Sa laki ng mga perwisyong ginawa ng mga CPP NPA tulad ng pagpapasabog ay naepektuhan na ang ekonomya dahilan para edeclare ang martial law. Sa totoo lng mas marami kaming natuwa sa peace and order dulot ng martial law kesa sa mga pasaway. Ngayon , nakakapagtakang biglang pinalobo ang dami ng claimants na victims. Joker Arroyo has also had the same conclusion and was as calm as Marcos throughout the impeachment trial. Miriam didn't have that calmness but you can't blame her when you're surrounded by corrupt hypocrites in the Senate. Regardless, these three have voted right and now, the truth is known.
I was in College when this impeachment case and hearings took place. It is just now that I understand what transpired. Saddening truth incribed in the Philippine Politics. I hope the future generation would grab the chance to realign our justice system.

He could have easily turned his back on his family and lived a peaceful private life. He could have convicted Justice Corona when most of his colleagues did. But time and time again he stood up with his head held up high and fought for justice and the truth.
