Marcus was preparing for deployment when he noticed a growth on the side of his neck. He was shocked when he was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Following initial treatment, he went into remission, but unfortunately, the cancer returned. With the help of his doctor, Marcus enrolled in a CAR T-cell therapy clinical trial. “Anytime you get bad news, be resilient and bounce back. Always look for the positive in anything,” says Marcus.
