Can anyone recommend a GOOD version of Meditations? I ordered the Shambhala publications pocket edition and the first page is from the author stating how he reworded and edited Marcus’s writings to take out masculine words and terms as to not offend people and make it “more inclusive for the modern reader”…screw that. The book is going right back to the seller. If someone’s offended by someone else’s words in a written book, they’re not old enough, nor mature, to be reading such heavy philosophical writings.
