So one part of our brain senses the fractal nature of the drip paintings even though we are not consciously aware of it! Wow that's actually mind-blowing to me. I wonder if anyone has published a peer reviewed paper in a math, science or Art History journal about this...does anyone know? If anyone knows of something somewhere can you please give me the citation !

This has been debunked. physicsbuzz.physicscentral.com/2009/01/facts-on-pollocks-fractals.html www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/11/071125114847.htm

Not the same -.-' a fractal is never "the same"! It is very similar and looks almost the same. Pick a tree and Look at the branch. It is never the same but it looks similar (same structure of build). Here in pullocks paintings the fractals have the same amount of complexety! You should listen and watch better...
Drip drip drip still not art. King is naked(Anderson). It is really "mathematical structure" when Pollock did not know what he did espesially when he was drunk.
No one's telling you to look at it if you think it is bs. There's more than enough art that is realist in nature that maybe you'd prefer. Maybe have some self-doubt sometimes? Maybe people around the world are not idiots for thinking something is art.
2:37 Absolute 100% BS. Compare the top left pic and the bottom left pic. There is NO similarity in patterns. One is more of fine and smooth hair-like FILAMENT and the other is more of blobs of rough ink marks with lots of ROUND drops. As you zoom in more and more, you can see more of the drops than the filaments.
EasiPat you are missing the point entirely. The COMPLEXITY is the same in each image, the more you zoom in, not the IMAGE is the exact same the more you zoom in. Think of a pile of leaves falling from autumn trees. As they layer up over time this is an example of a dynamic system (the trees) leaving behind a fractal (the patterns of the leaves). The complexity of this pattern will stay the same as the layers continue to build up.
i only see splash of paint nothing special, maybe someone cannot copy his nonsense splash of paint on the canvas but certainly he cannot copy someone else painting also,, and im sure he cannot copy the mona lisa ,girl with the pearl earing, and other great and timeless classical painting which is the true art,, this painting of splash of paint in the canvas is not art its just splash of paint,
