As a Liverpool fan, I'm so happy that he said he despises Liverpool more than Citeh. That's how it should be. Despite our recent rivalries with Citeh & Chelsea, Utd are still the team most hated at Anfield. Caveat: Rivalry should never be more than banter & delight at misfortune on the pitch, it should never spill into any form of abuse or hate.
Will always be you, I feel that United and Liverpool fans can hate what eachother has done, but also have somewhat of sense of respect for how it was done. Can’t say that of Citeh
I fell off football after 20 yrs in 2010. I came back last year and yes, I still hate you lot more than anyone. It’s a nice hate though, all in good spirit. The day we batter you will be a beautiful day for us hahaha ❤
Unsurprisingly Marcus just comes across as a great down to Earth lad. I've been watching United since Gary replaced Paul Parker and Marcus has easily been my favourite player since Sir Alex retired. Just a top lad 👍
@@C84__84honestly bro, do you just sit around waiting to hate on people? People who are much more successful than you and are living your dream. Is that why you’re jealous? Embarrassing.
For him to say as long as United win trophies in the next 5 years he doesn't care what happens to him truly made me smile and know he really bleeds for the club. Special Marcus
That he has a natural shyness about him makes the fact that he chose not to stay behind a gated community and say, “I’m alright Jack” even more remarkable. Whether he excels on the pitch or not, he’s shown enough off of it that I’d want him associated with the club for life.
@@ElwoodBlues381 idk man 17 league goals and 13 in other comps isn’t necessarily mind blowing now if he hits maybe 25 league goals and 10 in other comps that would be a great season but still not iconic let’s be real
This channel is so good at bringing the players out of their media-trained shells. It's great to be able to get a sense of what they're really like as people. Kudos to GN and the team!
I'm a Arsenal fan but have so much respect for this young lad Marcus Rashford, way he speaks, acts, plays his football and for what he does in his personal life for everyone as he came from the bottom and made it all not only for his self but for the ones he loves and even for us who he don't even know. An inspiration for the young and an incredible role model for all. Keep it up Rashford you are a true professional much respect for you.
I am happy he mentioned Cristiano Ronaldo a couple of times. Gary was surprised 😂. This goes to show that no matter how CR7 left the club Last season, he was still a good professional, player & person. No Matter how the English media may tarnish his name, he surpasses all the negativity.
What a lovely lad he’s incredible. Thank you Marcus for what you done too for the free school meal vouchers you helped millions of families I wish you the best of luck in life and your career. Utd to win the title this season I hope they do for your sake best of luck Marcus to you and your family. 💗💗💗💗💗
Thank you for last season Rashy, that might go down as one of the most important seasons in our club's rebuild. After the saga of the season before and preceeding seasons. To score 11 League winners, get us UCL, trophy after a drought, and this without a striker, you stepped up, and look at the players we are now attracting.
"If not wazza, scholesy" just goes to show hes been a fan for time and knows the team and what we need, honestly add prime Rooney or Scholes to this team we'd be so much more lethal and consistent
i mean you can't really go wrong with picking United players in the past because there's so many good players who in their prime would raise the bar with this current united team which is the best it's been in years.
@@jacklynch7802 pointless signing imo, good player and young but we can play Bruno as a box to box and play Sancho in that CAM/CF role. We have Marcus, Garrnacho, pellestri and Anthony to play on the wing. Should have signed Sabitzer and gone for Victor Osinhem or Kane. Mount was a waste of money, hopefully he makes me eat my words.
Such a nice lad, shame we don’t see more from him but I guess that’s just because of how he is, just a humble, down to earth guy who uses his position to help people. He knows the fans & communities are the biggest part of any football club and he is the best role model anyone could wish for.
Rashford a legend 🤣😂 that is beyond a horrific opinion, he's been at United during the clubs worst spell for 40 years.... at Arsenal we had Aubameyang he hit 30+ goals in back to back seasons but Rashford does it once & United fans be nominating him for ball'n dor 😂🤣😂🤣😂 legend 🤣🤦♂️
I just love this guy. He is so down to earth. I hope the people who abuse him watch this and question themselves. They won't because they are stupid but they really should.
Some of these Man United fans need to put some respect on Rashford name. 90% of them wanted him to leave the Club and was even claiming that Antony Elanga was better than him. Anyone remember this old saying? The stone that the builder refused shall be the head stone. Rashford, big up yuh dam self, you a the MAN! 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
@@bobnab1570 That's true, but I've watch all of Man United fan channels and most of them wanted Man United to sell him PSG. Bless up yourself stlll.👍🏽👊🏾
Being a City fan all my life, I watched the full video. Yeh, I hate them lot more than anything in the world. However, being a Mancunian, I respect the truthfulness and purity Marcus gives in this interview. He’s such a talented player and forgetting his football abilities, he’s such a genuine guy. Some guy him.
Talking about maths. I was taught by the same maths teacher as Rashford. Mrs Hennigan. She’s a scouser who taught in Manchester, and came back to teach in Liverpool. I remember she had a picture with rashford as a child, on her classroom wall.
Love you so much Marcus and thanks for the content Gary. Cant wait for the full interview 👍 The bar for sports content has risen so high since Overlap began and I feel Overlap and Rio's FIVE are the gold standard right now. It 's a shame really you two dont work together on TV, it d be brilliant that.
I remember our clash with that side in 2009,at OLT TRAFORD they won 4-1 and Vidic was sent off,I almost entered the tv, recent 7-0. I enjoyed their bad Ron last season that saw them to the EUROPA LEAGUE even though I didn't want them to make conference league, seeing them loss gives me joy and happiness.😡
I TELL YOU THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING TO SEE RASHFORD OFF THE PITCH HE SHOWED ME HOW PASSIONATE HE REALLY IS GARY NEVILLE OUR LEGEND AS A UTD FAN THANK YOU FOR THIS SO FOR ME NEXT SEASON I TELL EVERYONE NOW 30 GOALS AS A LOVER OF UTD THRU AND THRU I THINK WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE VERY BEST RASHFORD NEXT YEAR 30 GOALS I SAYING 40 IN PREM 55 IN ALL COMPS NEXT SEASON I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE RASHFORD GO GO GO NEXT SEASON THAT 30 GOALS I NO HE WILL WANT TO BEAT THAT COS ITS A TARGET I WANT SO MUCH FOR RASHFORD COS HE IS HOME GROWN
in the day and age of fewer homegrown players in the top teams of Europe, it really good to se a real Manchester boy! I Support Barca and i hope some of our prospects can do the same as Rash!
Hope he emulates that form he was in after the World Cup for the whole if not majority of this upcoming season. Doubt we'd have made CL had it not been for his goals early on. Classy lad, top pro and seems well grounded. Good on ya. ✌️👏😉
I've never heard rashford talk before. I'm surprised at how well spoken he is. Very bright too. I shouldn't be too shocked I guess but you never know with footballers, I kinda assume theyre all like grealish until I'm proven otherwise.
When people talk about mbappe . Mbappe might have won the world cup but rashford is talent plus a good human being. As an arsenal fan its hard to like him coz the torrid time he gives us. But he is a good lad
Loved him since his debut knew nothing about him at the time but the nxt game v arsenal wow you could tell it wasnt just luck really hope he cracks on from here n goes for the stars
Marcus has been the most interesting player for united since his debut. Confident, down to earth and hard for anyone not to like him for all he's been doing on and off pitch.
Being a Liverpool fan it’s hard to like a United player but I do like Rashford. He seems like a nice guy and well spoken and always gives his all on the pitch
Maybe im just getting older but i feel the same about a few Liverpool players, there's also something nice about seeing a local lad grow up and play for their team. Despite my United allegiance, I could never hate on Trent, quality player and came through the academy there, truly living the dream.
I LOVE THIS MAN TO DEATH. Idiots and trolls online will hate him for a year and a half of underwhelming football but forget the man had two consecutive 20 plus goal scoring seasons at 21 years of age. Add on top the absolute class and warmth he showed during COVID to achieve what he did and this last season scoring 30 goals. Proved them all wrong and I believe in him to keep doing that in the future as well.
It's telling how much he admires Cristiano just from this interview alone. And then there were reports about them not having a good relation. Just tells you how anything related to CR7 is targeted as a headline and many times it's just plain BS.
City be acting like they are big club now. Nope, it’s always man utd and Liverpool. We hate each other but in a beautiful way 💪🏾💪🏾. When pep is gone city is done.
