If he was a little more consistent shooting the ball, he would be a prime candidate for an all-star. His defense alone is close to getting him there, but some games, he puts up 25 points, and other games, he goes 2-for-20 shooting.

Fax he is our Swiss Army knife. He can guard every position. Remember that block he had on Jarrett Allen. I watch all the Celtics games and he is amazing. Defense wins championships.

One of my favorite Smart plays of the year wasn't on here because it was a Tatum play. It was on a jump ball. Smart went over to Tatum and told him to jump in front of his man on the tip and steal it. He did. Layup. Genius. Team leader. Heart of the team. Absolutely dying to win every night. Above average shooter (?!) Incredible passer. All time great defender. Doesn't need to score to be great on a team with 4 20 ppg level scorers. Not to mention all around amazing dude. He only just turned 26. What more could you want? I really like a lot of guys on this team, but he's my favorite.

PS- I've got to remember to give on your patreon. I'm going to do it now. I work in film and TV and you do a really good job on these. The way the audio continues after the picture cut until the broadcaster's thought from the previous play is over is great. It makes the video flow and continues the feeling throughout. I appreciate it every time.

He is a smart player. That’s where he gets his last name from. Just makes the whole team better. He is the piece the Celtics need to get through the playoffs. Tatum,Brown,Walker, and Hayward are all great but Marcus Smart is on beast mode.

He's a really fun one to watch. Just remember how much Smart tries each game.. Remember how people use to call him a weak link on offense and people cringed each time he took a 3? Guess who became a person with steady shooting the next season, through lots of practice? Marcus Smart.

Chill Laxx in all of these you can see the influence kyrie had on marcus’s offensive side of the game, all the moves and handles weren’t there before kyrie’s time with the celtics. during these two seasons smart has become a good offensive player. also, in all interviews he’s always tried to cover for kyrie and protect his image even though he fucked up last season
