Steve: "Excuse me, but doesn't anybody know, it's against the law?" Al: "So is dressing up a chicken and calling it your wife." Marcy: "I am not a chicken! Why does he keep calling me a chicken?" Steve: "Now, Marcy, Don't get your feathers ruffled." 😹😹😹😹😹🤘!
Agreed in the beginning. Her and Steve were the perfect neighbors for the Bundy's. Back when the show was rooted in reality. Later on when the show lost its natural feel and became unrealistic I don't think she grew with the role much. I don't think she understood how Marcy with Jefferson was written. Heidi Swedberg (George's dead fiance, Susan on Seinfeld) is who I think would have done more with the Marcy Darcy character. Amanda Bearse directed some great episodes later on though.
The Marcy character was ruined when she became a radical, man-hating feminist. In other words, when they let Bearse control the character. MWC didn't jump the shark when Jefferson replaced Steve, it was when feminist Marcy replaced greedy banker Marcy.
Even if the subject was about mangoes I know turds like you will bring politics into it. And then people wonder how a poor politician becomes rich the moment he or she gets elected to represent them while the majority is living paycheck to paycheck smh 🤦♂️
It's Al's favorite chicken (aka the neighbor boy)! 😁😁😁 This compilation is missing 1 very memorable Marcy's moment: Delivering the bad news on behave of the bank! 🤠🤠🤠
I lmao @18:28 when Amanda needed a "moment" and asked Katey for a cigarette afterwards. This show was comedic GOLD 30 yrs ago, but sadly, the humor would NEVER make it nowadays because people are too sensitive, easily offended & just plain Butthurt. More's the pity, say I...
Gotta love marcy. The most narcisstic man hating chicken headed woman that couldnt even deny her own human urges lol. She wasnt all bad. I loved her straight to the point style. A perfect dychotmy with Al and Peggy lol
@@fortynights1513 Because this video is only the first 6 Seasons of the show. I think a "Marcy's Finest Hour #2" could be put together from the rest of the series.
One of my favorite Marcy moments was when she was between Steve and Jefferson and brought her date over to Al’s house. He lost a bet with Marcy that Al, a grown man, had been a shoe salesman for 20 years and paid her in front of Al.
I always preferred the Original Steve. The Second Steve did a good job of replacing him though, although played more into the dumber side of Steve. The original played him with a bit more intelligence
