The theme for Mardi Gras 2015 at Disney's Port Orleans Resort was music including Rock; Country; Disco and even a float for KISS!. Each year on Fat Tuesday, there is a pargo golf cart parade, where Cast Members decorate the golf carts and dress up to celebrate. Beads and candy are thrown to guests. Several horse drawn carriages were included this year, the last carrying Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen.

I agree some mardi gras music. Disney really should do a Mardi gras event and have character mardi gras food celebration. King cakes, gumbo, jamballya, etoufe, po boys, muffalettas, beignets.

I remember that time. The Flinstones mobil was the first float I built as a castmember there. Gotta see the one I built in 2016 for the same parade. Darth Vader.

This was honestly a way for departments to show off their skill at making a parade float out of a golf cart lol. There’s no real Mardi gras tradition here. Just a fun thing for the employees to do.

Zebinator pretty much all of the departments that work in both Port Orleans resorts (though it's usually most of the managers and a couple of normal Cast Members).
