I really love how this vid is shown here,in the same style of Heisenberg effect. It looks like Patrick is costantly remembering his worst moments as some sort of reflection. It show us a more human and sad side of him,and the song in background empathatizes with the inner chaos that Patrick keep holding. Not being in prison in the end,after all the massacre that he caused,really taken a toll on him. At this point is hard to consider it "luck",but a "punishment",because the rest of the life of Patrick will be about killing and inflicting pain on others,and he can't even understand his own nature. That's even worse. He want to fit in the society,but he can't. He want to be respected like his collaegues,but gets always understimated and treated like a nobody and fool. None listen to him. None care to him. He Is lonely,and hurt. I know this feeling very well,and that's why i relate to Patrick Bateman regard to this side. Even through he did horrible and unforgivable things,in the end,he still remains the most human character of the whole movie,only he and Jean,in my opinion. I love this movie,and the message in it.
