Fresh sambos are good mate they make great beer battered fish and chips too, not sure about east coast but In the west when they get over a metre you can get a few with worms and they don't freeze that good, they get mushy. but yeah fresh is good 👍🏻 good ep mate🎣🐟

Well done mate. Enjoy WA, you won't want to leave after you reach the north-west. Lots of Pink Snapper from Perth to Shark Bay this time of year, massive compared to what you'd be used to in NSW. Then the rest of it only gets better the higher you go 🌏 🐟🔫 🎣

People are way too picky about what fish they eat. If it tastes bad, it's most likely because they can't cook.

Sambos are great, but every once and a while you will get the odd one with worms and all of a sudden they are a shit fish because a couple in a hundred have worms
