Just got the terribly sad news of the death of Margaret Urlich at only 57. I saw her sing live about 1990 in Melbourne. She was a fantastic live singer with a unique soulful voice. R.I.P.

Two years of my life with a woman I can never forget. Listening to "Escaping" just destroys me everytime. I will never get over that relationship and that song takes me back there as if it's yesterday.

Saw Margaret at the Pier Hotel Frankston in 1990. Best concert I've ever seen. She blew me away. Fantastic vocalist and great backing band. Would love her to tour Australia again and play this great music!

I saw a live show at the Tok H in Melbourne in 1990 I think. It was fantastic, pretty big crowd from Memory. She started with Number One . A fantastic mini Concert, my wife looked fantastic in a floral patterned skirt . One of the best concerts I ever saw . I was shocked when ai heard she passed away. A great singer & lovely person.

It’s so wonderful this recording should pop up in my recommended list. I saw Margaret perform in the Queen Stteet Mall outside Sanity Music many year ago when she was promoting her Chameleon Dreams album, which she signed for me. I was saddened to here she had passed away last week, so soon after two other outstanding Australasian female singers, Judith Durham and Olivia Newton-John. ❤️

So happy someone posted this. I MISS HER so much. She completely touched my soul and saw her in Perth when she was at her peak. Lord only knows why she doesn't do a few live gigs I would travel across the country to see that! Are you listening Margaret. Lastly, her band Peking... gosh thank God they worked out who the real singer was. LOVE ALWAYS

only made it to #17 in Aus, but was the 3rd single from the album, so there's that... but the album smashed it, and she toured hard on the back of that and the second album. She was magic live ❤

Safety In Numbers was (& still is) one of my favourite cds. Probably has the most number of great song on it of all records made. Besides the hits she had from it, I loved Slip On By, Only My Heart Calling You, Guilty People & God Bless The Child cover. I was lucky enough to see her perform at The Theatre Royal in Hobart many years ago. Her beautiful voice was always recognisable to me on The Horses. RIP taken way too soon.

Tide Keeps Rolling In. A woman's waiting for the 'tide' to find her instead. It's great writing imo. If it had the right clip showing the wrong women, and her waiting, it would have put the world in a good direction. My favourite.

Saw this band back in the day many times and pretty sure the line up was as follows: Mark Costa (bass) Mitch Farmer (Drums) Andrew Oh (Sax/Flute/Percussion etc) Mark Punch (guitar) Raj Kamahl & Danny Da Costa (keys) though unsure of the female BV. Margaret Urlich was a fabulous performer and always seemed like a lovely humble person with it. No diva crap about her. Very saddened by her passing. Saw Daryl Braithwaite perform last night and he dedicated an unbelievable performance of "Horses" to her. RIP Maggie...
