Margaritaville Orlando Staycation Day 3! | Our Favorite Day, Surrey Bike Ride & Dinner At EPCOT!

Today’s vlog is day 3 of our Margaritaville cottage staycation! We start the day off with breakfast at Provisions, which is the grab and go location. Then we head over to the pool area where we rent a Surrey bike and ride around the resort! The bike ride was so fun, Jackson loved it! We also have a little pool time before heading to EPCOT for dinner and dessert. We start out with a ride on Space Ship Earth, it was Jackson’s first ride on it and he loved it! We had dinner at the Katsura Grill quick serve eatery in the Japan pavilion. The food was really good and we’ll be back again for sure! Then we end the day with dessert from the all new Gelateria in the Italy pavilion, which was also super delicious! I’ll be back for that pistachio gelato!! Have you tried teaching Jackson baby sign language when he grunts for “more” of something? He’s at the perfect age to begin learning how to communicate! You guys are great parents, thanks for sharing your life with us! You bring such joy!

Sign language doesn’t hold back or impede language. If anything it makes for less frustrated babies bc they are understood and have their needs met. That being said some little guys pick it up. Some don’t. The only sign my son cared to use consistently was in fact MORE. 😂 His “sometimes” nanny (he came to work with mom and dad and she followed him around while We worked!) was also fluent in sign. She was very impressed that he was signing for more. It just delighted her to her toes that one minute he was baby chatting and the next minute he was talking to her in a language she knew well! 😂 sorry random story. We didn’t over use baby sign but “more” was a big hit! Now he’s six and making his needs and wants clear is not an issue. At all. ❤️

When you're doing what you love, it never feels like work. Left my corporate job as a contract writer/negotiator to walk dogs and cat sit full time. "Working" 7 days most weeks but it doesn't feel like it.

Love seeing Jackson on the surrey bike. It brought back memories of my 3 boys riding the bike with me at WL back in 2008. I love the QS place in Japan. The menu has some new interesting items. Yummy. And your little buddy look adorable in his jammies. 😎👍🏻

You could always open it with one hand, and throw stuff away with the other. Or use your wrist to push it open and hold it open and throw your trash in and then remove your wrist in the same way you opened it.

@@MadsElise Yes, there are, but, there's also a lot of germs everywhere else, too. On that handrail or ride restraint, on the merchandise in the stores (think about the hats people try on.... lice, anyone??), on touch screens, on table tops, on chairs, on lots of places. Just use hand sanitizer or wash your hands if you're worried about germs. Besides, though, sitting in the sun, germs do tend to die after a few minutes anyway because the heat and sunlight kill them. It's a natural disinfectant. So if you ever go shopping, grab a cart from outside in the cart return before grabbing one from inside or under the entrance-way. And then use disinfectant wipes if you're wanting to be extra cautious.

I just hate having to touch the trashcan lids that everybody's trash has touched! I know I'm a bit of a germaphobe, but sometimes at restaurants somebody's ketchup has gotten all over the swinging lid. I much prefer just having trashcans be open because I'd rather have to smell that than have to touch it!

I love the feel of these vlogs, it's like you're finally experiencing vacation mode in the parks (pre-pandemic Tim was ping-ponging everywhere and it seemed lonely and rushed). Enjoy all this sweet family time and all of Jackson's firsts. I was so happy that you were going into Spaceship Earth! That spot in Japan is the best for meeting the gang after they've all gone out to their favorite place in the best food court on earth and brought it back to enjoy away from everything for a few minutes.

And maybe why those cottages have to have pools is to make sure you don't swim in the lake idk but those looked nice too!!! I love how happy Jackson was with his rock so adorable!!! And WOW!!! Surrey bikes are so fun! The best experience my family and I have had on a surrey bike is at Zoo Miami. The zoo is very expansive so it's a loooong, sunny walk to see everything, but riding around on a surrey bike is the best because you can see almost every exhibit right from your bike, or park it to see the exhibits that have less room to maneuver. We had 6 grown adults, including a pregnant me, on one of the large bikes. It was comical but super fun 🚲🦁🐯🐻

I love that quick service area in Japan. The food is so good and the area is so hidden and quiet. We always stop there when in Epcot.

The Japanese quick serve is one of my favorite places to eat. It is WW (Weight Watchers) friendly, and it is so peaceful there far away from the hustle and bustle of the park. And yes the bonsai are part of Flower and Garden.

Thanks for the super fun video from Margaritaville. But not only the cottages who are on the waterfront have there own pool. Our cottage near the Salted Rim Rd has also its own pool like the rest of our street actually. But that was an option, so we could choose.
