This was our first time at Camp Margaritaville in Auburndale! We had no idea this was such a popular hang-out spot for full-timers and rallies! haha! It was quiet the week we went! We just stayed there last month for the Southern Alliance Rally and it was a great little campground. We had a standard back in site and we loved the astro turf in the campsite and really loved the angle and length of the back in sites...made it real easy to back in and plenty of room to set up and park our truck totally out of the road.. Lots of great stores and stuff right down the road.
Agree with everything you said. I was disappointed when I saw the grand opening photos of Camp Margaritaville @ Auburndale. They need to plant lots of mature trees for some shade and to break up the massive parking lot feel. I’m wondering if the ramps in the lake were for the RV Unplugged RU-vid channel competition that was held there in early 2024. I’ve heard that Camp Margaritaville @ Lake Lanier in GA is very nice. About an hour north of Atlanta. Thanks for the review
Auburndale is 1hr and 45 min to Tampa/Gulf coast and 1hr and 45 min to the Atlantic coast. You are about one mile from a large lake Ariana where bass tournaments are held, boating, water skiing, 6 miles around the lake. It's about 25 min to Disney, and about the same time to Lego Land.
It is weird seeing this margaritaville rv resort in Auburndale. I went to high sdhool there. I remember when that land was just orange groves behind the 2 lakes. I like you guys and I hope my wife and I see you in Tampa. Be Safe. Charley and Laura Kilmer from Ocala.Fl.

Lol yeah, so sorry we had mentioned in our Community tab post that we had to repost this one. We had trouble with it on the back end and it was the only solution to fix it. Sorry for the repost but glad to know you’re familiar with it haha 😀
