Abhishek Raghuram never tries to sing to satisfy the audience. First he satisfies himself, and in the process the Audience get the full satisfaction of listening to a good concert. That is what is required from a Musician. During this locked in Period Abhishek "s Concert has brought a lot of peace in our troubled mind. His Happiness is well expressed in the Thillana.
I bow down. This is tremendously spontaneous organic Carnatic music. I am eternally grateful for this sharing on RU-vid. I live in Ca but I get to have a glimpse of these great beings from afar. 🙏🏾
With the beautiful LGJ varnam in Neelambari the kutcheri is well on its way to a grand success. After a sweet Mukhari alapana a rare song Sarasiruhanana [with brilliant mridangam by his cousin Anantha !!] with Sri Ramamurthy's mellifluous violin by Thyagaraja, rarest of the rare presented with gusto. I loved it. Keep up young vidwan Abhishek. Darbar or Nayaki as they are allied ragas. Most likely Darbar. Let me wait and see; I love this guessing game in our music. Anantha is making his grandpa proud every time he is on any stage. Mr Ramamurthy is indeed one of the best. Ramabhirama ramaneeya Rama !! Darbar by Thyagarajaswamikal. So far all the three songs are rare ones. I salute the young man for doing such a delightful kutcheri paddhati. More rare ones in store? Darbar came with the most desirable Mishra Chapu. Bombay Sisters do Viloma Chapu! You bring pride to the illustrious memory of your grandpa Palghat Late Sri R Raghu maash. Vasanta and what? Another rare one. Deep alapana!! Etla dorikidivo? It must be such joy for one cousin to watch the other in action. They must be close to their ages besides been close to emotionally. Raghu saar with MDR on Bhairavi Swarajati!! With a poor mridangam it would not have that great even if it was MDR, in my humble estimation. Seethamma Mayamma -- another Thyagaraja kriti. This Vasanta alapana was as good as TRS saar's version. MDR would have been proud. Mridangam at it best. Rupakam is great for mridangam. How a mridangam can make or break a concert is right here. This is one of the best kutcheris in about three years. Though it was performed in 2012 I could get to access it only in 2020. The Covid-19 made it possible to be streamed today, April 25, 2020.
Setting the paradigm in classicism just like their grandfather did. And what a spectacular finish to the Thani! Shri PMI’s Korvai continues to be unmatched for its tension-and-release impact.🙏
Happy and Proud moments for Sri Abhishek Raghuram’s father , to sit behind his son and listen . Blessed father. Please include the names of the Co artists .
