So enjoyable to watch a pleasure session.Fishing with paste on waggles looks a great way Ben.Enjoyed the vid and glad you didn’t show the fish close up.🫣
First comment … get in there 👍 Another great video Ben 👍👍 I always liked backwinding … but get a massive carp on pelting off across the pond and I’ll guarantee you’ll get rapped knuckles 😂
You looked like you was enjoying yourself Ben yet another way to bag up on the paste it's a cheap way to have a good days sport for pennies really crackin vlog m8
Great video Ben, How easy was that, Bet you were fishing in no time at all, And packed away in no time at all, Keep it simple, To much Gear and to many methods, Fishing should be about going fishing and enjoying it, And not making it complicated, And time-consuming, Well done Ben great video, Like to see more of them simple fishing, Many Thanks Richie.
Great vid Ben. Which peg was that - looked like one of the first as you drive in, to the right of the tree (willow?). I’ve fished it before in pellet waggler but at distance. Thanks for sharing and I’ll watch out for you next time and come and say hello. Cheers.
Great video Ben. When I fished there recently I couldn't get through the skimmers even using large lumps of paste the float was constantly dancing around, even had a gudgeon on a piece, maybe one fish in 10 was a carp, what do you do to get through the silvers?
It's difficult if im honest. best on carp/F1 venues really or a good head of bream. Usually the carp will bully the smaller fish off towards the end of the day.
Great way of fishing but I usually use a small pole float on a 12ft/13ft rod with a lump of paste or cat 🐈 food ! Excellent fishing in the evenings and a great way to land the monster doubles !!
I know you're not casting out in this one, but if you had, and were clipped up for casting towards an island, if the fish runs on the clutch like they did here, does it just stop dead at the clip, and then you have to reel in after before the clutch can let it slip again?
You would have to release the clip if it needed to run. Using measuring sticks or a little cotton tied to the line as a guide for your clip. This is rare fishing to features though, for them to run like that
Seem to remember you doing a review on the Daiwa Tournament landing net handle and saying it was the absolute dogs. You then reviewed the Guru Aventus handle and said you couldn’t see much difference between that and the Daiwa especially since the Daiwa is much cheaper. With that in mind what has made you now choose to use the Guru Ben?
Your right. At the time in my opinion the Daiwa was the best until i used the guru. Personally i don't use it at 5m but i had them side by side not much in it but the guru was better. this is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1NUmKvp1hDw.html
@@Angling4U this is what I thought, but as it appeared in your video I thought they were being sold again, thanks anyway, I will do some searching cheers..👍
Paste coils on eBay small and medium, But maybe a better idea would be to put a pellet on a quick stop, And mould the pace around the pellet, If you prefer to hair rig it.
Lots of commercials have many Carp with deformed mouths. Tends to be the ones that allowed kids to fish them when the fish were young. Large hooks being pulled from fish's mouth by kids using 15lb lines and heavy cheapo rods. I've seen kids unhooking fish by simply pulling the fish's mouth off. Foxhill fishery. I had them removed from the fishery and banned.
To true regarding the abuse given to the Carp by inexperienced Anglers with heavy duty Carp Gear. Unfortunitely the Lake owners dont always show concern. They just take the money. A couple of checks a day to check the gear would go a long way to educating these "anglers" in how to catch these fish without causing the damage rhey do. Good catch on a simple but effective method.
Agreed.. 2 rods alarmed up to death with size 8 hooks on a match lake 😂 I used to use 2 rods but always fished my 8lb main line 6lb hooklength and size 14 or 12.. 10 max. Now I fish one rod or pole .. practicing techniques.. hopefully fish my first a match this year. Just need another keepnet 😂
