I always look forward to seeing little Margo in one of your videos. She reminds me so much of my little Precious Princess, she was a little three pound Chihuahua who brightened my life for almost 15 years. I hope that her recovery is speedy and complete. Margo is a little charmer.

I thought Margo was much older, because she's always been such a pro during filming. You get to have her for years and years!! 💖😄. She has such a beautiful nature, no wonder Dempsey runs to the TV when he sees her.😍. He had an, " You allow this??! " moment earlier today when my neighbour called to the door with their 4 month old Mini Dachshund Olive. Olive stepped into the hall uninvited and the look of appalled bewilderment I got ! 😯😒 . Olive is mega bouncy, so Dempsey doesn't really get it. He's a trotter. 😂😂 A big cuddle and some virtual chicken to Margo. 🙋💖

I’m so happy I’ll still have many many years with Margo ❤️ I love her. Poor Dempsey doesn’t know what to do with bouncy girls! He and James will get along well.

I'm having my Chihuahua spayed once she is 1 year old in February, but I'm so worried about this new dog virus, any advice on how to protect her? And how do I prevent her from running and jumping while she is healing?

Don’t let her run and jump by keeping her in her habitat area while she heals. I made a video about the virus. Just do your best to keep her away from other dogs. Of course while in surgery and recover you won’t have control of other dogs in the room but hopefully the doctor would not be doing surgery on any sick dogs. Best of luck to your baby 😅

Cancer prevention, prevention of endometritis, no more false pregnancies, no more stress from heat.. All of these are good reasons to get a female dog fixed. My dog's going through a difficult first heat rn so I might get her fixed too one day.

I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to get my almost 3 year old girls fixed. While I DO understand the reasons for doing so, Neither of them are around any other dogs, so the risk of a pregnancy is ZERO. AND, I am considering allowing them each to have one litter... I'm just not sure what to do!🥺🥺🥺

I agree, it’s a tough decision. But I’ve seen the terrible effects of Pyometra one too many times. When a female goes into heat, her cervix opens which allows for bacteria to enter. Even if there are no males around, they can contract this infection just by going outside and peeing on the ground in the wrong spot. Their vulva is usually enlarged during a heat so when they squat to pee, it can touch the dirty ground which can allow for bacteria to enter. Pyometra is a deadly infection and requires immediate space surgery. Emergency is about five times the cost and much more stressful on everyone. If not caught in time, pyometra is fatal. And so I prefer not to risk it
