The singer is Sami (yes, indigenous Native Arctic Scandinavia, but not from the Americas...there are indigenous peoples all over the globe) and incorporates traditional Sami music style/"joik" into her work as well. Bluetech and Mari Boine are two of my all time greatest favourite 'artists' - I was blown away to find out that Evan had done a mix of her greatness. What a treat - not expecting it all - and it sounds fookin' brilliant too. Love the music.
