The 9th video in our #MyFilmStory series features Mari Calai.
Originally from Europe, she lived in South Korea, studied at the New York Institute of Photography, and now resides on the East Coast of the United States
Mari hopes to challenge viewers to think beyond what is immediately perceptible. She has an inherent curiosity which she uses along with her Rolleiflex 3.5F medium format and a field Wista 45DX -II large format film camera, loaded with ILFORD HP5 Plus black and white film, to capture not just images, but the mood around them. Freezing and sharing moments in time.
