My ممانی proudly went for IVF too 25 years ago. And had twins, son and daughter. They are 24 now and the daughter is getting married next month. IVF is a wonderful procedure.

Assalamualaikum I have also endometriosis stage 4 and n I went for this procedure it's very costly....and doctor said only 2% chance positive 98% negative,so guys we are living in Pakistan everyone knows that initially doctors making money 💰💰💰 from you , approximately 2 lakh for just all the tests and then we'll think about it but we're not sure you'll conceive or not means giving 5 lakhs to them which is impossible for middle class and so called doctors are just disgusting,,,, moral this procedure is for the richest people that's it I would love to pray for all my dearest sisters who are suffering wd these issues Allah Subhantaalla give them shifa e Kamila inshAllah ALLAH Subhantaalla will bless us with Almighty ALLAH'S blessings

3 failed IVFs. Gave up on ever being a parent and then Allah gave us a ray from heaven and we adopted our sunshine the reason I breath,my heart my life.
Hello Maria. I just loved how this brave lady and you did a candid yet informative session for the parents who have a thought of conceiving through IVF discussing both emotional and mental health aspects. However, I am surprised why you both missed the PRICE tag. Living in Pakistan and not talking about the cost it takes to do this treatment is a bit shallow.
Hi Ammara! The price in Pakistan is different now compared to when I got it done here and as for Singapore, the price varies from patient to patient depending on their issue and the amount of meds they take hence pointless to discuss pricing.
I have been done IUI three times...1st time is negative...2nd time conceived but miscarriage Nd 3rd time is also positive but I have also miscarriage my twins yesterday....it's very painful for physically and mentally... hope so I will recover from it Nd conceived again with healthy baby..... Allah with help us

Great and powered journey.. I am a Psychotherapist, I have a friend who has gone through this journey..was there for her for the emotional support. I would like to add one thing .... in this entire journey the support of the husband is most important. While promoting IVF also promote mental health and husband's counselling...rather couple counselling...in abroad its regular thing. Thank you, Ms. Mariam!!!

the only thing which u forget to touch and which is more stressfull, the reason which dont let people to go forward IS the cost🤕🤕🤕🤕, 90 % of couple cant afford it, i wonder how Maria get to manage 4 time such a big amount of money hats off to her, if that process was painfull, stressfull ladies will definitly love to go through it only if it was cheap. but unfortunatly its a bitter truth all over the world including pakistan it is way more expensive. ur programme was so good by the way,

I had 2 failed IVFs. After 2nd failed cycle I concieved naturally Alhamdulillah. It is a painful process not physically but mentaly specially when you get negative results. After my 1st cycle I had severe head ache for good 2 weeks. Medicine medicine medicine that's the only thing what i used to think about.

I m very depressed how people taking this interview. I read so many bad comments on Maria’s Facebook page & Twitter that its islamically not correct and they are cursing this lady without understanding the concepts. My question to all those if they really understood and identify the difference in IVF & Surrogacy. Surrogacy is definitely haram in Islam as you are having kid with another women without marriage or ‘Jayez’ relation. IVF is just a technology used for same couple (unless used otherwise like in western countries). Why it is haram if used for same married couple? Please if someone can explain me with Hadith or sensible reasons. Don’t we use technologies for other purposes. If using a technology is wrong, then using mobile and using this RU-vid and Facebook is also wrong. Please understand the concepts before start shooting on others. Please respect other women as you want your mother and sister to be respected by others. Doesn’t matter how wrong the lady is, people don’t have right to disrespect anyone publicly. And surprisingly the guys are saying its un-Islamic. Have you guys notice how un-Islamic response you are publishing against her. I have heard that according to some scholars Even surrogacy is not completely haraam ( incase egg n sperm of the legal husband n wife is used...n of course they can't conceive naturally) n generally hamaray mainstream Islamic scholars ke kia he baat ha inhon ne to loudspeaker ko b haram qarar dea tha initially....
@@gachi_school wrong, surrogacy is TOTALLY haram. And the issue with ivf is the corrupt doctors that could be using their own sperm or someone elses, in america something like 42 kids found out that their father is the dr that did the ivf

Great episode as always.Congratulations to the couple. I am really glad that she is so open about this. We see alot of couples that silently suffer along with the societal pressure that further adds to the injury but they don't explore or opt other pathways that might lead them to have children. Prayers for all. May Almighty make things easy for all. Ameen To the random men that made her feel bad, if you can't be empathetic atleast don't be pathetic. Superb content! Your podcast stand’s out comparing to others because of appealing content. Many other podcasts are just “choon choon ka muraba”! because they are more focused on celebrities over content. Brave lady, Maria Ali! When there is a will there is a way fit on her. Only thing which she didn’t discuss is about its cost. Also, she used high English words which I guess be difficult for less educated women to understand. Little less English would be better. Opportunities for less educated women in Pakistan is one I want to see 😊 Thumbs up!! 👍
Good job Maria! Just to add one more point, It is Islamically correct and allowed. It is just a medical procedure to cure infertility like any other treatments that people take when they fall sick. Even our court has also given a verdict on it.
It's halal as long as its from the husband and wife not anyone elses egg or sperm. Plus we should take care of our daughters when they are young. Feed them well and healthy also exercise
She seems like a v strong, calm person MA, V inspiring journey! However I feel this podcast could’ve been more informative. The questions from the interviewer were very generic, we all know it's thought of as a taboo, we all know it's an emotional journey, however it would've been more informative if she had asked why 4 IVFs, bec usually you do collect more than 1egg per cycle which can be used if one transfer failed,did she finally have a fresh transfer or a frozen one, why did she choose Singapore and how long did she have to stay there, did she change anything about her diet? What was different in the last cycle from the others bec she mentioned in pk it's one plan for all but abroad its more customised. I think all this information would've helped a lot of people who are confused or about to set on this journey rather than just asking what was society's reaction etc.

I mean specially the ladies having 4 to 5 daughters with 4 c- section now have last chance to have baby and really very worried. Plzz guide me in this regard. Thanks
Yes you can choose the gender. There is a test called ‘pre-implantation genetic testing ‘ before embro transfer. You can choose gender and also healthy embryo.
I have tried it twice but there is on thing to be mentioned that everybody can't afford it economically.This treatment is only for rich people.you should have mentioned this too.Why is it restricted in our society? Because this is out of reach for common people.As this lady mentioned that she tried it for four times.its the matter of money as well.
