Like most of us, comedian Maria Bamford (@mariabamfoo) and singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile (@brandicarlile) will probably never return home to find their house covered by an enormous towel, or feel the pain of their phone shooting out tears. In the Wits Game Show (witsradio.org) -- "None of Us Can Relate to That" -- host John Moe (@johnmoe) challenges them to explore, with observational humor and in heartfelt song, just what it might feel like to live out the improbable.

Brandi's aptitude for improvisation is breathtaking: being able to sing songs that seem to have been written a long time ago is the privilege of great musicians. I love her.

I swear there is nothing Brandi Carlile can’t do, nor a song she can’t sing that isn’t pure gold. Towel on my house...I’d buy the album.😂❤️

Just found this and I really don't understand why they didn't have Brandi doing sketches when she was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. She's got quite a gift for humor as well as being insanely talented musically.

Maria handles being the lame one almost like it's where she prefers to be tho... it's like her whole motif is the yin to Brandi's yang and they make this impossible to not laugh, no matter where or who you are. I'm sick and feel like crap but I'm laughing until I'm crying at these two. BRILLIANCE LIKE THE DAMN SUN!

They have a really similar technique of monologuing genuine ideas until they find a way to branch out into the absurd while still holding a believable premise. That's art.

LOVE THIS! Go, Brandi! Both women were hilarious, but Brandi made me laugh out loud because singing earnestly in a folky-smooth way about ridiculous shit is just too funny.

I listened to this while I was housekeeping and the owner was home on the couch...I was trying so hard not to laugh out loud and Brandi's singing had me tearing up so freakin bad :) Is this show over? I was listening through i forget which app and it seems to be over sad face

The Bigfoot song is amazing because I LOVE Bigfoot and Brandi and Dolly Parton which is exactly what the melody sounds like, the coat of many colors

Brilliant stuff! I feel like the music quality just makes Brandi more impressive, but if you take just what they say I thought Maria was actually more funny...funnier? Hah
