Free is the most personal song I've ever written to date. I've been struggling with anxiety since I was 7 years old, after the first death in my family. I can still remember the first anxiety attack I had. I was trying to fall asleep, the night before I started 2nd grade and I just couldn't breathe. And that's how I've felt for the last 20 years, This almost constant feeling of not being able to breathe. There are times when it feels better, others when it's simply unbearable. And I've been learning how to live with it. How to live with my demons. Live with them, not agains them. Because I know they'll always be here. And that's what I wrote 'Free' about. The release of this video is way overdue. But after the year we've had, it feels just right to put it out now. Hope you love it just as much as I do. ❤️ Free é a música mais pessoal que já escrevi até hoje. Sofro de ansiedade desde os 7 anos de idade, após a primeira morte na minha vida. Ainda me lembro do primeiro ataque de ansiedade que tive. Estava a tentar dormir, na noite antes de começar o 2º ano de escola e simplesmente não conseguia respirar. E é assim que me sinto há 20 anos. Um sentimento quase constante de que não consigo respirar. Há alturas melhores, outras em que é completamente insuportável. E tenho aprendido a viver com isso. A viver com os meus demónios. Viver com eles, não contra eles. Porque sei que estarão sempre aqui. E é sobre isso que escrevi Free. O lançamento deste vídeo já devia ter sido feito há muito tempo. Mas depois do ano que tivemos, sinto que faz sentido lançá-lo agora. Espero que gostem tanto dele como eu. ❤️

Awesome! Loved it! Congrat's! I know whats its like to have anxiety! It gets better less and less! Your getting there! The break in between means your moving passed it. I'm better and been a very long while since had them, we will always have some anxiety in life no matter the subject! Push through and go do something positive and think of something else that brings you great joy! I remember having to pull over the side of the road and take deep breathes and be ok to keep on, yes it cam make you feel like nothing is real like your not here out of place! When someone we love dies always remember thats NOT the end you will see them again when you pass over! The joy of seeing them again! Our loved ones are here with us in our hearts! So hang in there!
