Una fusione di voci paradisiache...la Callas ...Corelli...Bastianini il sommo della somma degli artisti, questi immensi talenti sono loro stessi lo spettacolo vivente !!!!Tu Maria Callas sei indimenticabile...tu Ettore Bastianini sei sempre nel mio cuore...e io adoro il mio Corelli !! Peccato non avere registrazione video di cotanta superba interpretazione. Tutti superbi e nobili nelle voci e nelle interpretazioni. Troppo presto lasciati all'oblio. Grazie x queste perle che ci fanno sognare
Franco Corelli é sempre stato PERFETTO, UNICO , IRRIPETIBILE, STUPEFACENTE E CREDIBILISSIMO NON SOLO VOCALMENTE, MA ANCHE DAL PUNTO DI VISTA ESPRESSIVO , INTERPRETATIVO, SEMPRE IN TONO E MUSICALISSIMO, IN TUTTO CIO' CHE HA AFFRONTATO SIN DALLE PRIME OPERE DI INIZIO CARRIERA , Come si potra' notare, la sua Bellissima Voce, potentissima, squllantissima, nonostante i larghi centri baritonaleggianti , è Maschia, Testosteronica, Sensualissima.., e riesce sempre a svettare, su Muro Orchestrale, Coro e Soprani , anche nei fortissimi , svetta sempre.. non a caso era soprannominato il Tenorissimo.. ! Qualsiasi paragone con chicchessia degli altri Grandi Tenori, risulta sempre molto imbarazzante a carico dell'altro.. !

Grazie Marco Corelli.... per il tuo magnifico commento sul mio idolo Franco Corelli, tutte le cose ed i valori di questo talento e vanto della nostra grandiosa Lirica le avrei volute dire ed esaltare io se ne fossi stata capace!! Tu che porti lo stesso cognome del nostro Grande ed immenso Artista, forse stretto parente di Franco Dario Corelli hai descritto la sua voce non solo con tanto "amore" ma con argomento di chi conosce la materia e le sfumature di una " Voce" così importante come quella di Corelli... è vero le critiche sono libere... ma altrettanto è gigantesca l' invidia ch' è insita nell' uomo e lo rende meschino!! Sig. Marco Corelli... Il tuo F. Corelli è un vanto per l' Italia ed un nome scritto a caratteri di fuoco nella Storia della vera Lirica!!! Mi scuso se mi sono permessa di parlarti con troppa confidenza e darti del " tu" ma come te anch'io amo così tanto il mio Corelli !!! Caro Corelli, non credo che Di Stefano o del Monaco temessero il Franco e si imbarazzassero come tu credi. Di Stefano poi di Corelli sotto i piedi se ne metteva una mezza dozzina.
Questi non sono semplicemente Artisti lirici......sono dei rari e preziosissimi gioielli da esporre nelle teche dei più grandi Musei del mondo !! Ma chi ha una voce come quella della Callas.....del grande Corelli...del perfetto Bastianini ??? È un trio che ti fa venire le palpitazioni....la pelle d'oca e....morire d'estasi !!!!!!!!!! Le emozioni son un'estasi del cuore che oar cessar di battere...Amo Corelli. La sua voce sta sklo in cielo tra gli angeli e con la Calla e Bastianini. No non ci son parole ma grandi emozioni.

Operas[show] v t e Poliuto is a three-act tragedia lirica (or tragic opera) by Gaetano Donizetti from the Italian libretto by Salvadore Cammarano, which was based on Pierre Corneille's play Polyeucte written in 1641-42. It reflected the life of the early Christian martyr Saint Polyeuctus.[1] Regarded by one author as Donizetti's "most personal opera" with the music being "some of the finest Donizetti was to compose",[2] Poliuto was written in 1838 for performances planned at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples later that year. However, close to the time for rehearsals to begin, King Ferdinand II refused to allow the martyrdom of a Christian saint to be seen on stage and forbade the production.[3] Angry at the decision and with a commission for the Paris Opéra due from the composer, Donizetti paid the penalty to the San Carlo for not producing an original work as a substitute, and left Naples for Paris arriving on 21 October.[4] As his first commission for Paris, he decided to revise Poliuto and between 1839-40 a French text, with the title Les martyrs, was prepared by Eugene Scribe which conformed to the conventions of a French four-act grand opera, but which incorporated 80% of the music from Poliuto.[3] It was presented in Paris on 10 April 1840. When eventually given in Italy, it was initially presented in a translation from the French version under the title of I martiri. Yes! If I had an opportunity to go back to ANY point in history, it would be to hear Corelli live! No doubts about it!! His voice is so beautiful to the point of heartbreak! ❤️💔

JuPiNi1 la scala è il teatro di Milano, la scala a pioli è intesa come qualcosa di completamente diverso e modesto, rispetto al tempio della lirica (la scala, appunto)
The three greatest singers in their voice categories! They sang together also Il Pirata at La Scala but, unfortunately, no performance was recorded... Corelli is simply heartbreaking. Absolutely divine!
Un reparto de lujo. Una de las pocas operas q le iba a la tesitura de Corelli de Donizetti. Opera poco conocida pero de gran belleza y difícil de cantar.
Extraordinary singing por 3 of the best voices of all time .....and the Music is too beautiful .....unfortunately this opera requires magnificent voices!!!!

It seems so easy for them! I can't believe that all of them are spectacular but, Corelli simply glides through the air with every note. nothing forced! I wish I could have seen them so many years ago but, I was 19 and not very smart. One learns.

Callas está divina, como siempre, con el fraseo, la expresión, el sentimiento y su fidelidad a la ópera. Bella representación de Poliuto, llevada al clímax.
Una opera minore sublimata con cantanti da un altro tempo come non si trova più. La Callas per il suo cantare impareggiabile Bastianini per il suo stile elegante e Corelli per l'unico timbro solare.
Ingrid grazie per questo regalo. Alla Scala c’ero anch’io, felice per il ritorno di Maria, ed è stata una serata di emozioni per un’opera che non avevo mai sentito, ma che è molto orecchiabile. Tornando a casa canticchiavo “Il suon dell’arpe angeliche”. Rivivere quei momenti è bellissimo❤
Listen to the recording of this whole performance. Callas was not at her best ... perhaps nerves since it marked her return from one of her many dust-ups with management. Bastianini was magnificent, but Corelli's performance was one for the ages. He never sang better. No one ever sang better, than Corelli in this Poliuto. Next time you hear someone say: "Nothing's Perfect" direct than to Corelli's Poliuto performance.
@@billobrien5118 it is true that she was not in her prime, however it does not matter because the expression is so outstanding that a more beautiful voice cannot do nearly as well.
