The only recorded try if Maria As Imogene Live from Carnegie Hall of New York in 1959! Nicola Rescigno is conducting! I have remastered the sound from the BJR LP!!! The audience going wild!!!!
The sound is very better than previously. Callas was in good voice as late as 1959 (I know, she was only 36...) and her dramatic impact is even deeper.

It is a shame EMI did not do a commercial recording of this opera with her or her live La Scala Anna Bolena. Yet they had the nerve to issue this performance along with her live Anna Bolena on the EMI label strictly for the money.
