This song takes me back to a time I had at Butlins in the 60's. There was a bar with a jungle theme, trees,vines and grass everywhere, with small private seating areas surrounded by a magical forest.. I was with my wife to be and Maria Elena drifted through our little world, It was absolutely awesome, probably the best time of my life. Your beautiful rendition is so haunting and rekindles such precious memories.

Really sweet... Hank mixed nylon string with the Shads' version, but as a guitarist my motto has always been, "anything acoustic sounds better electric", and this is no exception... Again, the crip, clean - yet slightly edgy- tone of the Burns gives almost an "electric Spanish" timbre to the piece... One of my Mom's favorites, as is "Sleepwalk". I think of her and smile when I hear both of them. As always, well done, Ernst. Dan.
