MARIA JOÃO - OGRE (Portugal) OGRE electric is a music project led by renowned jazz singer Maria João and her producer, musician and close friend João Farinha. The band started around 2009 and has undergone several different identities and formations. OGRE has released two albums "Electrodoméstico" in 2012, "Plástico" in 2015 and "Open Your Mouth" in 2020. Maria João's third project encourages daring: to sing, to speak, to love and to fight against the powers that be. Exploring, never giving up and always being open to new impressions will always be their motto, so it can sometimes be difficult to put a label on the music. But who needs labels?
