I was just recently in this musical. Oh, it was fantastic. I love West Side Story. It's a beautiful classic that will always be current. It was great to watch a bunch of modern-age young adults and teens turn into people from the fifties. You don't want to know how many cans of hairspray we used! It was so much fun. If you ever get the chance to possibly see, or be in, a live performance of West Side Story, take that chance!
My (hopefully) future wife is named Jalila, I'm practicing this for her, her name replaces Maria nicely. I just sing one or two lines and she giggles and it's the cutest thing, I love her so much

I wish I was born around the time this movie was made. Words can't really express this song or the movie. And coming from me, the movies made these days are totally shit (excuse the language :P). This song and the movie makes me wish I was born around these times.
