This is some fierce, fearless singing! Two verses of the cavatina with all that hammering away at the passaggio, capped with a fat, powerful High D at the end. When you've got solid technique, flaunt it! Thanks for posting!

Just came home from seeing today's matinee performance. It was spectacular and Sondra was riveting in the final scene.

Chris Stockslager The voice is tired, the middle is unstable. The legato line is also in bad condition. She has sung roles that were too heavy for her. Now she pays the price. This being said, she is a very fine and interesting artist, but in the wrong repertoire (not entirely her fault!).
