Just got back from a vacation in Mexico and was promised mariachi by a restaurant, disappointed when two old men came in with a guitar and harp but then got blown away for an hour by sheer talent, memorable.

I may not know much Spanish but it's always good to hear music from my Mexican Heritage. My grandparents loved hearing Mariachi music. RIP Grandma and Grandpa. I miss you so much!!

The Mrs. says: I was born in Culver CITY, California and I have loved these wonderful Mariachi Bands for as long as I can remember. Those men to me were so manly and handsome and I based my idea of what a man should be and look like when I was growing up in Los Angeles as a young girl, yes I would have married one, but I was a little English, Irish, white girl and my Parents would have fainted if I would brought one home as my future Husband, after all the heartache and misery I have gone through in my lifetime I would have been better off to follow my heart and marry what to me would be my dream man and have a family and still live in beautiful Los Angeles and by now I would have learned the Language and been a happy Mariachi Wife.

I had seen them last summer in SF at the SF Symphony. Great band! And great ticket! I was right in front of the stage, first row orchestra seat. They will return to perform a Christmas concert in SF this Dec. 2018 too!
