Combination of vocals from the Runaway Bunny soundtrack (forgive the weird little animal noises in the background lol), some live performances, and a few short lines from the studio version that couldn't be salvaged from live recordings.
one thing I appreciate about Mariah is she is from a different time of music she has outlived so many of her generation & she made life what it is for herself... and she is still here today.
@@jefflawrence5835 she been in the business for 30+ years and still going #1, don't you think that's insane, she's the only artist to have ever done that
@@plsss476 That adlib did cross my mind and I attempted to use it, but I couldn't clearly extract the vocals from that performance. Honestly, I think she could more or less still sing the whole bridge (minus the F5), so I didn't mind using the studio version.
It's all her, just from different eras/decades. Intro=Walmart concert 2015/iHeart 2018, verse/chorus 1=Runaway Bunny, verse/chorus 2=iHeart 2020, bridge=studio/2013 GMA/pitched whistle from Infinity, C5=iHeart 2009, outro=pitched Runaway Bunny/studio. Unless you're referring to some of the background vocals, in which case you are correct.
Oh I don't find that very pretty. I'm sorry to say, but Mariah carey has a damaged voice. We must face the facts. I don't know if it's the age or if it's the nodules (or alcool), but she really should write songs that live up to her new voice. I really say this with a lot of sadness because she's my favorite artist and I have all his albums, but it's hard for me to hear this version.
